"A heart...."
That got Julian's attention.
"Omg! Did I said out loud what's on my mind??"
"This?" He said holding up the heart-shaped lockset in his hands while showing it to me.
Julian chuckled...".. and yes Line, you just said what you're thinking about. Haha."
"No way?" I said... now, I'm embarrassed.
"Yes way." He smiled.
He really have this cute smile always.
"I know." Julian said.
"Oh Gosh!" I said almost shouting. "The hell! Did I say that out loud too?! What's happening to me?"
Julian started to laugh.
"Hey!" I slapped his arm. "Did I?? This day couldn't be more embarrassing!"
He's laughing so hard he's now clenching his tummy.
"Stop it!" I stomped my feet like a child.
He really tried to get up straight and stop his laughter. Then he look straight to my eyes.
"Seriously Lian? You cry when you laugh?" That's when I began laughing my heart out too.
"Hey!" Now, he's the one stomping his foot like a child. Lol.
"Weak!" I pointed my finger at him while laughing.
"Well you can't blame me if youlook so cute panicking. It was funny seeing you all worried that I can read your mind." That stopped me instantly. I looked up and saw him smirking.
"No you're not." I scowled at him.
"Yes I am. Wanna test me?" He crossed his arms. Saw his biceps then. Well, not so bad. Maybe he workouts a lot.
'What the hell am I thinking?!
"I know babe. I'm sexy." He said.
I felt my mouth hanging open.
"You cannot! You're a fraud" I argued.
"You know, maybe I could be Edward Cullen. I can read minds." Smiling at me.
That's it! I was gone.
"How the hell did u know Edward!? You saw the movie? I thought Jazz told me that you never bothered watching anything before m-" I was cut off.
"Before you."
I felt my face heating up.
"I know Jazz already told you that I have a massive crush on you right?" I nod. "That girl loves making fun of me since forever."
"Yeah I know. I'm surprised you still considered her as a friend. Haha" I said.
"That's because you're friends with her." I was shocked.
"What?!" '...user.' I thought.
He laugh again.
"Julian! I'm not joking. Why are you laughing at me?" Now I'm beginning to feel mad.
"Sorry Line, you're just too cute. It's like I can really read your mind."
"But you can't." I said matter of fact.
"That's right. Because Edward can't read Bella's mind right?" He said.
'Oh.'
Before I can answer him back i saw Jazz running towards us.
"Hi best friends!" She said while hugging Julian and kissing my cheeks. "What's up? Madz why are you blushing ?" She looks intently at my face I had to look away.
"I made fun of her but we're already cool with that. Right Line?" I just nod not looking at them.
"Okay..." Jazz said. Seems like she felt the tension going on right now. "So... Did you buy your locksets already?" she asked.
"Yeah, I bought 5." I smiled, brushing off Julian's comment earlier.
Julian looked at my way.
"Why five?" He asked.
"For my family, Jazz, Kirtyl, friends like you Lian and of course for my partner in crime." I said.
Jazz began tapping Julian's shoulder.
"That's okay, at least she considered you as a friend now." She said.
Julian faked sobbed. He can't act. Fyi.
"What?" I asked dumbfounded.
"You just friendzoned my childhood friend, best friend." Then she laughs.
"She just friendzoned you Juls! And I witnessed that! Mwahahahaha!" Jazz said evilly. She can be cruel sometimes.
"Hey I did not!" I said. Okay.. Two pair's of eyes on me right now.
"Well... Julian is a friend now. That didn't mean that I friendzoned him." I explained. Sometimes I wonder why I need to always explain my side.
"Okay... being friends for starters is good! Very well then." Jazz said while grabbing my hand and tugging Julian's sleeves. "Let's go up now! N Seoul Tower... here we come!" Jazz said enthusiastically.
We went up and then I saw countless of locks everywhere. It was cute.
'Locks of Love'
It's romantic to think that probably millions of couples already sealed their love here. And I hope that couples who've been here is still together until now. Wishful thinking.
"This is so cute!" Jazz said while looking at different padlocks hanging on the fence. "I mean there are personalized locks for heaven's sake! This one is awesome! Why did I not think of this gimmick before ?"
"Well babe, those padlocks belongs to real couples. They're in love that's why they can create something cute like that thing. Are you in love tho?" I know I'm prying but oh well. Lol.
I think I saw Jazz smiled a little. Must be my imagination.
"Let's lock ours now!" Jazz then clapped.
Right on cue my phone vibrates. I took it from my pocket then saw Jack's name flashing on the screen. I answered it.
"Having fun?" Jack said.
"Yes. We're now here at N Seoul Tower. Quite the view from here." I shared.
"Namsan? What are gonna do there?" He asked.
"We're exactly at the Locks of Love area J. Going to lock our love for specific person." I explained.
"What the hell?" He muttered.
"Google it." I teased. Then I laugh.
"There's nothing funny Maddie." I can hear irritation from his tone.
"Just Google it." I said again then Julian called me.
"Madeline! Line! Come on! Saw a great spot here!" Julian said.
"Who's that?" I hear Jack said.
"Julian"
"Julian?"
"Yeah Julian. Like your Julienne." I said.
Phone went silent. I look if the call ended but it didn't. Jack just became quiet. I counted.. 1... 2... 3... 4... 5.. 6..
"Line!" I heard Julian's voice calling me again. I shouted back.. "Coming!"
"Madd-" heard him say but cut him off.
"Later Jack, gotta go. Lian's been calling me for like so many times now. Can't make him wait any longer." I said. He didn't reply.
"Hello?" I said. I'm getting irritated from him not speaking when he's the one who called in the first place.
"Okay Jack, end the call now. I can't keep on waiting for you every single time. Gotta go. Bye." I said then hit the red button on my screen.
