"I'm not saying I don't like it." Esmerelda said while taking a bite of her apple. "But I don't like it."

"I agree." Pippin nodded his head.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Frodo asked scratching his head.

"It means that I don't not like it and not that I don't not like it. Savvy?" Esmerelda took another bite of her apple.

"Ok... I'm lost." Sam sighed.

"But really, who's he kidding? No one, and I mean no one would like that look." Merry said as he looked at the picture that had just been posted on Facebook.

"Poor guy. How did that even happen to him?" Esmerelda took another bite of her apple.

The five hobbits were huddled around Frodo's computer.

"Um... Guys? You do know you have your own homes with Wifi right?" Frodo shifted uncomfortably between Sam and Pippin.

"Yeah. But we were already here so we thought, 'Why not?'" Pippin said as he eyed the extra apple in Esmerelda's other hand.

Merry shook his head as he looked on the computer screen.

"Why would Legolas even cut his hair?"

Sam shrugged. "Beats me."

"Are you gonna comment on the picture Fro Yo?"

Esmerelda asked.

"I don't like people reading over my shoulder." Frodo hoped that they would all take a hint but they refused to move.

Primrose came in with Bilbo a few minutes later.

"What's going on in here?" she asked.

"Leggy Boy got a new hairstyle." Esmerelda said as she finished off her apple.

"Leggy Boy?" Primrose asked.

"Legolas." Pippin explained.

"Es has been giving everyone nicknames." Merry added.

"The only nickname she let's us call her is Es." Sam concluded.

"So far I've got Fro Yo, Sammy, Pip, and Mers for these guys." Esmerelda motioned to the four hobbits.

"What about me?" Bilbo asked.

"You can be Billy Bo" Esmerelda said as she started on her next apple. Turning to Primrose she said, "And you're Prim."

"Alright." Primrose said.

At least it's nothing like Mers.

"Hey! That picture of Legolas got taken off of Facebook!" Pippin exclaimed.

"Dang it! We didn't even get to leave a sarcastic comment." Merry said.

"Don't worry guys. I took a screen shot." Frodo said proudly.

Merry patted him on the back.

"Good job Frodo!"

"Don't you guys think there's a reason why the photo was taken down?" Sam asked. "What if Legolas didn't want anyone to see it?"

"First of all, Legolas didn't even post the picture." Pippin stated. "It was posted by some guy named Phoenix. Second, if he doesn't want embarassing pictures of hinself of Facebook he should take better care not to let anyone take his picture."

"Well, I'm done on here." Frodo logged out and stood up from the chair.

"Darn! I wanted to see if Aragorn posted anything new." Merry sighed.

"You do realise you all have your own phones with Facebook on them? You don't have to wait for me to go on mine." Frodo stated.

"Yeah, but this way we get to interact more." Esmerelda said.

Frodo rolled his eyes.

Sam suddenly noticed something outside of the window.

"What is that?" he asked.

The other hobbits looked out the window.

"There's nothing there Sam." Primrose told him.

"Yes there was! I saw it!"

"What was it?"

"I don't know!"

"Well then, let's go look." Bilbo suggested.

Everyone agreed to that and followed Bilbo outside.

When they got out, there was nothing.

"There's nothing out here Sam." Primrose said again.

"But I did see something!"

"Whatever it was it's gone now." Frodo said.

Meh! Meh!

"Uh... Pippin?"

"Yes Es?"

"Please don't make that noise ever again."

"That wasn't me."

Meh! Meh!

"Ok, I'm scared." Merry looked around and tried to find the source of the noise.

Meh! Meh!

Primrose saw it before the others.

"It's a goat."

Meh! Meh!

The small black goat hopped out of the bushes and ran in a circle.

Meh! Meh!

"What's it doing?" Sam asked.

"There's something around it's neck!" Esmerelda pointed at it.
"Looks like some paper."

"Try and get it!" Bilbo said.

Before they could move the goat leapt into the air.

Meh! Meh!

Pippin pointed up at the flying goat.

"You guys are seeing this right?"

Meh! Meh!

The goar flew down to Merry and pawed at his leg.

Meh! Meh!

"What's it saying Merry?" Pippin asked.

"How should I know? I don't speak goat."

"Maybe it wants you to take the paper?" Primrose suggested.

Merry bent down and carefully took the rolled up paper from the rope around the goat's neck.

"What does it say?" Esmerelda asked.

"I haven't even opened it yet!"

"Ok geez."

Merry unrolled the paper and began reading.

He smiled. He smiled even more. His face turned red. He laughed. He smiled some more. Than he reached into his pocket, pulled out a pencil, and wrote something down.

He rolled the paper up and slipped back into the rope and put around the goat's neck.

Meh! Meh!

The goat leapt up into the air and flew off.

"What was that all about?" Sam asked.

Merry didn't answer. He left Bilbo's garden and walked down the path, skipping and whistling.

"Ok... I'm officially freaked out. Who wants to go to the Green Dragon?" Pippin asked.

Everyone nodded and followed Pippin to the inn.
