Fall

"Fucking hell, dude. I just broke my new suitcase."

Kenneth laughed at me as Gabe was recording me on Snapchat. Well, I guess I'll just use my black Nike duffle bag. Why am I even using a suitcase? I'll just fetch Elle in Australia anyway. Yep, that's right. She was in Australia because she'll be attending Showcase National Dance Finals 20th Anniversary, and the point of me flying halfway the world just to fetch her is because it's her birthday in two days.

This will be my first time to Australia. I'm kind of losing my mind right now, not really, but also because I'm going to surprise her. What happens when you leave the U.S. and go to Australia, you skip two days so if you leave Sunday night which I'm doing, I'll arrive their Tuesday morning, her birthday. I have currently been scheming with her aunt on how to make this work and just her aunt, is going to pick me up in the morning from the airport bright and early. I might get to the hotel room and just still sleep for a bit, I'm not quite sure what's going to happen so once we get there, her aunt's going in, figure out what to do and make something like a game plan. I don't know, walk in her or let her out to see me or something. Hopefully it works, fingers crossed. But since I'm still packing, I'm already nervous because the flight over the Pacific Ocean is a long fifteen hour flight but also, I really want to make sure this works and surprise Elle, and yeah. Prayers up.

After packing, I made sure that I'll leave our apartment untouched. Fixing her room, and making sure it's perfect. Guess what, I redecorated her room because she deserves it, and it's a part of my birthday present for her.

Pulling Gabe and Kenneth out to make sure the apartment was all cool and locking it, Bailey called for FaceTime. "Hey Bails." Kenneth held my phone for me.

"I just finished talking to Elle a minute ago, and I called because I wanted to tell you that the girl would love to receive daisies from you, Mr. Lew." She told me. "It was her favorite flowers." She added.

"Thank you, Bailey." I said and ended the call after she gave more advice on what girls would like when it's their birthday.

With my driver, I made it to LAX and then bid a quick good bye and man-hugged my two best friends before I leave.

You guys might be confused on how I'll pull this off. Basically what happens is, when I go to sleep at night I won't be replying to her the whole time, for fifteen hours, I'll obviously be sleeping and she goes to sleep an hour before I wake up. So we'll actually not talk to each other for a long duration of time. My flight leaves at night wherein I'd normally fall asleep, making me not talk to her. Anyways, she goes to sleep not checking her phone. And when I arrive, she wakes up and, flames.

I was waiting to board. And Elle is being super talkative right now, asking me if I had a productive day and I told her that I'll be filming a dance video with the guys and we're practicing the routine right now, when actually I'm in the airport. I also told her that I have a class tomorrow morning so that she won't bother sending me too much messages or such that she won't have any idea that I'm actually going in Australia tomorrow morning.

She was asking me for FaceTime, and that she wanted to see how I was doing with the guys but I told her that I'm kind of too busy to talk right now. Ugh, I feel bad about lying to her. I mean, I haven't done something like this before, but it's a surprise. It's a surprise for her so this should be cool. God understands, I'm not actually lying. God gets it.

Well, here goes a stinky fifteen hour flight.

I've been on the plane for twelve hours now, and I'm so close. I got two more hours and eighteen hours left. And I freaking see Australia right now, I just watched the sun rise.
