Struggles
"The more you love, the more you suffer."
Great, just great. What a great choice of words that Charlize told me this early morning. I helped myself stand up to use the bathroom when they were still talking about me and I can clearly hear them giving me advises for 'survival' or something like that.
It's been three days since I got back home from that South Korea trip. And things aren't getting any better because who would want to see the girl you love being with someone else?
Down to our last day in South Korea, it was a time for us to chill before going home. We were just about to hit Seoul but then before we can even get out of the hotel, the other room across us were creating muffled noises. I opened the door and there was Elle and Yumeri, smiling because... wait, what? Romeo is here.
"Surprise?"
Elle attacked him with a hug. And yes, I'm jealous.
I remember the time I surprised and fetched her when she was in Australia, which was also my first time because her birthday would be in two days after that. That same day I took her out to Warner Bros. Movie World even if I was too tired from the fifteen hour flight. Then I also surprised her with the squad's help in LAX. Ugh, good times.
Why do I have to see this?
Romeo kissed her forehead but she tensed up, I can sense that. I know her too well. Her eyes shows too clear and pure, but her mind was so deranged.
Tahani shifted her position. And the girls were talking about random stuff. "When I was a little girl, I used to read fairy tales, and watch magical love stories. Then princesses would meet their prince charming and he's everything that a girl would want. In fairy tales, bad guys are always easy to be recognized. Always wearing black capes or masks or black something so you always know who he is. Then you grow up and you realize that prince charming wasn't that easy to find as you thought. You realize the bad guy wasn't wearing a black cape or black mask at all and you wouldn't know who he is." She paused. "Turns out, the bad guy was the one who's really funny, he makes you laugh, and he has perfect hair." She shakes her head then smirks.
"If that's the case then why do I have a perfect hair but I'm a prince charming to this one." Kenneth pointed at April and she hit the back of his forehead. "Ow, I am just saying the truth." He laughs at her.
Rolling my eyes while I flush the toilet, I walked out. "What a shame that us girls who once believed in fairy tales and magic had to be struck by reality with demons in our mind and the fear of never being loved." Lexee said. We were all silent. "Why are we talking about such and being problematic anyways?" She chuckled. "You know, you shouldn't be here. We should go out and have fun. Let loose!" Lexee told me and they all agreed at her idea.
Groaning and going back to where I was comfortably sitting, I spoke. "Uhm, I'm cool. You guys just lock the doors when you leave." I yawned and they all gave me a look.
Bailey tapped my shoulder. "If I were you, I'd put that thought away. See, you're just hurt and thinking about it again. You're enough. You are so enough." She said. "It is unbelievable how enough you are." She smiled at me.
Sighing, I spoke again. "You know what fucking hurts? Feeling someone slowly lose interest in you, when it wasn't like that before." I said. "They don't ask how your day was, or what you're doing anymore. They don't show much interest anymore. Just, no more." I let out a deep exhale. "It's like they're just slowly backing out of your life and there's nothing you can do but keep smiling politely and pretend you didn't notice." I huffed. "Her eyes reminded me of tinted windows, she could see out but you couldn't see in." I bit my lip.
