For the last couple of weeks, wala naman siyang naramdaman na kakaiba. Everything was normal. Her school activities were normal. Maybe that letter was just a prank. Hindi rin niya nakikita ang lalaking yun. What was his name again? Ludge? Lank? Lalala? Basta may letter L ang name niya.
That's why she was happy right now because her day was peaceful...
Or Not?
"Crissy !!!!" napalingon siya dahil sa sumigaw sa pangalan niya habang naglalakad siya sa lobby ng university.
Ethyll's flushed face came to her view. She knotted her forehead.
"O? anong problema mo? Kung makasigaw ka wagas."
She gasped for air before talking to her in a calm manner.
"May-may nag-aaway sa loob ng room."
"So? What does it gotta do with me?" she asked curiously. Hindi naman siya taga-awat ng rambol, so hindi niya maintindihan kung bakit ibinalita pa ito ni Ethyll sa kanya.
"You don't understand. So here's the story. Nagkainitan sina Jared and Miguel, so dahil sa galit nila sa isa't isa, they throw things at each other not minding who owns that unfortunate material. The problem is ang isa sa mga gamit na ibinato nila ay ang palm size chibi Ryoma Echizen mo na naiwan mo kanina sa table natin before tayo nagbreak para magsnack."
"O ngayon?" hindi agad tumatak sa isipan niya ang sinabi nito.
"Loading lang Crissy? Ang Ryoma mo ang nadali nila!"
Out of the corner her other friends came saying the same thing to her. Her mind felt numb. Her anger reached to the highest level.
"Oh-Oh... we got a problem guys." Saad ni Ivelyn.
"Shoot! Patay sila. Galit na si Crissy." Sherry.
Not her RYOMA ECHIZEN! Walang pwedeng kumanti sa Ryoma niya.
She was an avid fan of Prince of Tennis, and Ryoma Echizen was her forever prince. Everything about him were always important to her. Kaya ang malamang napahamak sa kamay ng mga walang magawa sa buhay ang pinakamamahal niyang si Ryoma, parang gusto niyang magwala. At magwawala talaga siya.
With heavy steps she walked through the crowded corridor to where the suspects subside. She pushed the sliding door harder than usual making a loud noise, she saw red when her Ryoma Echizen was hanging on the window, her poor Ryoma.
She glared at the two individual who stopped what they were doing and looked at her with surprise. All of her classmates know her fandom of Prince of Tennis, and they were not an exception. Then they looked at each other until their eyes went to Ryoma, hanging on the window.
"Lagot." Jared whispered.
"Shit." Miguel cursed.
She slowly stepped closer to them making them stumble backwards until their back reached the wall. They gulped. She didn't understand what they were saying, all she could think was her most beloved Ryoma Echizen was suffering. When she was already an inch apart from them, "Alam niyo naman na importante sakin si Ryoma Echizen di ba? So bakit nasa bintana siya? At nakabitin pa ng patiwarik?" her voice laced with unreleased anger.
"Ah---Eh-ano kasi...siya kasi eh.."turo ni Miguel kay Jared.
"Anong ako?! Ikaw kaya!" depensa naman ni Jared.
Lalong nag-init ang ulo niya.
She raised both her arms and slapped their cheeks. Forcefully.
"Aray! "they both said in unison.
She then kicked their stomachs making them crouched on the floor.
"SA SUSUNOD! KAPAG NAULIT ULI ITONG GINAWA NIYO, HINDI NA TALAGA KAYO MAKAKALAKAD! MGA LECHE PLAN KAYO!"
Agad nagsitakbuhan ang dalawa, doon lang din niya napansin na nakatingin ang mga kaklase niya sa labas ng pinto, well except her friends that are just sitting in their respective chairs giving her thumbs up.
"Nice show Crissy!" Sherry clapped her hands.
"Maka-utos nga sa susunod na itapon si Ryoma at nang may aksyon na naman." Ethyll said while somewhat thinking seriously.
"Sige, maghahanap ako Ethyll." Ivelyn said like it is a good idea.
She just shrugged her shoulders. What a bunch of friends she has. Naglakad siya papunta sa window kung saan nakasabit si Ryoma. Ang problema, dahil malaki ang bintana at nakabukas palabas ang frames nito kailangan pa niyang tumingkayad dahil nasa uppermost corner nasabit ang chibi souvenir, eh pinagkaitan pa naman siya ng Ms Universe na height. In short pandak siya
"Malapit na." she murmured to herself while trying to reach it. She didn't notice her friend's gasps.
Then suddenly when she already got a hold of it she lost her momentum and slipped falling outside the window. Nasa second floor pa naman siya, pero ayos lang masasalo naman siya ng mga puno bahala na kung magkagalos siya basta masave lang niya si Ryoma. Napapikit siya, narining pa niya ang sigaw ng mga kaibigan niya pero bakit tila may halong panunukso ang mga boses ng mga ito?
When she thought she would slowly fall, two strong arms held her body preventing her from falling down. She smelled a familiar manly scent. And the voice...
"Gotcha." The guy said.
She slowly opened her eyes and raised her head to the person who saved her from falling.
"Ikaw?" her eyes bulged. King L.
He smiled mischievously. "Yeah. It's me darling."
Napatulala siya ng ilang segundo sa kagwapuhan nito. Ang gwapo nga naman talaga ng lalaking to. He was holding her so close, she felt her heart beat accelerated a thousand times than normal. Nakatitig lang din ito sa kanya na para bang siya lang ang nakikita nito. It sound cliché but she started to feel giddy making her think of being in his arms forever.
She blinked her eyes. Forever? Saan ko nakuha yun?
She came back to reality. They were hugging each other without her knowing that her arms are surrounding him, maybe it was during the moment when she thought of falling down.
Unti-unting itinulak niya ito. "Pwede mo na akong bitawan."
"Paano kung ayoko."
Napakunot noo siya. "As you can see, safe na ako."
Sa halip na bitiwan siya, he suddenly nuzzled her neck and bite it.
"Aray! Bakit ba nangangagat ka diyan? Feeling bampira lang?" sabay tulak dito ng pagkalakas-lakas. Sa wakas ay binitawan narin siya nito.
"Kung bampira ako, ikaw naman ang may pinakamasarap na dugo. You'll be my favorite food." He smirked.
"Che! Lumayo ka nga sakin!" hinawakan niya ang leeg.
"Sa susunod, hindi na kagat ang ibibigay ko diyan sa leeg mo."
"Eh ano? Tali?"
"Love bite."
Nanlaki ang mga mata niya.
She blushed.
