A few weeks had past by since Yuki, Zero, and I were in headmaster's office.  We've all been busy, more so Yuki and I rather than Zero. But we managed to put him to work, hanging things up where Yuki and I couldn't reach. I didn't mind that he didn't help, after that incident, it was never the same again. Senri made sure of it.

Many days of extensive work was going to pay off, the ball was tomorrow in the evening.

Everyone was super excited, where day class students can have the opportunity to dance with their crushes in the night class.

So far I was going alone since nobody had asked me. But I am excited for Yuki since Kaname asked her. The dress he sent her was absolutely beautiful and suited Yuki's persona.

Conservative yet elegant.

My mother, on the other hand, somehow found out about the ball and sent me a dress. She always loved buying me expensive things. The box with my gown was suppose to arrive later this evening.

There were faint murmurs in both dorms during patrol. I could tell everyone was extremely excited. I went towards the school garden to see Senri.

I quietly pulled down my hood and glomped him from behind.

"Senri!" I gleefully cheered.

"Akahina!" Senri jumped slightly before continuing, "I was just about to look for you."

"Oh really? Why? Hmm. Rima's not with you?" I asked looking around for Rima.

"I wanted to speak to you alone.. Rima's at the dorm," Senri stated.

"Awhh I wanted to see her," I pouted.

"Will you go somewhere with me?" Senri asked. Senri held my hand and led me further into the garden.

"Where are we going?" I asked. We had been walking for a while and it was hard to see.

"We're almost there. Close your eyes?" Senri asked. I did as told before we stopped walking.

"Open them?"

I opened my eyes to see the center of the garden beautifully lit. Strings of light hanged around the trees. A table sat in the middle of the flowers, lit with candles and a single rose in a vase. Also on the table were an assortment of sweets on a dish (I'm referring to those tiered dishes you usually see when having high tea, and there's an assortment of sweets and finger sandwiches).

"Senri, this is beautiful!" I exclaimed, feeling tears brimming my eyes. I felt so touched. Senri led me towards the table and as a gentlemen, he pulled out the chair for me to sit.

"I thought we could have dinner together, but more importantly, Will you go to the ball with me?" And on cue he pulled out a bouquet of roses.

I could feel tears stream down my face.
"Yes!" I cried before engulfing him into a hug. Senri was taken aback and we fell down onto the field of flowers. I couldn't help but tickle him. It became an all out war of tickling!

After having our fit of laughter, we stopped and layer in the grass. We spent the rest of the night stargazing with our dinner long forgotten.

A smile was painted on my lips. It felt like I could smile like a Cheshire Cat forever.

Senri, You don't know how much you mean to me.

Senri left back to his dorms, something about Takuma needed him to help him with something about manga. I was making my way back to the bridge before going back to my dorm.

There a lone figure stood.

"How have you been?" I asked.

"Well." Was all Kaname pursed as he looked at me from the corner of this eye.

There was a long pause before Kaname broke it, "Are you going with anyone?"

I knew he was referring to the ball, but what fun would it be to reveal it so? I think it's quite obvious and Laname is smart enough to know.

"That shall be a secret," I giggled. "I heard you asked Yuki, she's extremely happy,"

"Yes. She's the only person important to me.." He trailed off.

"She's quite lucky." I whispered before
I retreated back to my dorm.

I couldn't help but feel extremely happy about the ball tomorrow. Once inside my room, I saw a single box resting on my bed.

Opening it, I couldn't help but breaking out a smile.

Mother is the best.
