Holiday excitement

Time went by quickly after that. Before she knew it, the holidays were here. Amanda's favorite time of the year was Christmas. She was now 20 weeks along in her pregnancy. This was where the girls could hear their parents and also kick Amanda from the inside.

That being said they all had one big thing to look forward to. The Rollins Amaro wedding. Amanda and Nick were not only nervous but excited. Their love grew every second.

Today Olivia, Alex and Amanda were going dress shopping

"You know I'm very proud of you Amanda"

"Thanks Liv it means a lot" I said

Soon they were called back into the room.

"So what's your theme?" The lady asked

"It's like a winter wonderland theme given that it's snowing and it is almost Christmas. The plan is to have mistletoe and candy canes, among other things" I said happily

"Okay let's get you three fitted.

The lady smiled at the women's baby bumps and soon they had fitted Alex and Olivia both even with Olivia being now 8 months along in her pregnancy.

Amanda was now just barely 4 months along. They both enjoyed being pregnant as best friends. About 20 minutes later Amanda found the perfect dress as well. It had long sleeves and was white and perfect fitting. Alex and Liv's dresses where a very light shade of sky blue as well.

They where all set about an hour later. The three women went out to lunch and then about 2:30 pm returned to their homes. Nick had been home all day with Noah, Hope and Zara. The wedding was all set and ready.

All too soon they were called into work. Olivia had the option of maternity leave but she refused. She kept saying

"I will work and do my job until my water breaks in this precinct"

Amanda gave up and decided to do the same thing.

"Hey guys we got a case. Three and Ten year old sisters. Found with bruising and signs of rape, they were home alone and were found by the next door neighbor." Fin said.

Liv rubbed her belly as she felt the hard kicks Alexandra and Elliot were giving her today.

"Alright Amanda and Nick go to the hospital and get the girls statements. Alex I love you go do what you do." She said kissing her

"Fin you and Carisi go to the crime scene. Figure everything out." Liv said. Normally she would go with but after the recent scare she decided to limit her field work. Eventually she would make Amanda do the same but not yet.

Wednesday Morning
9:30 am 

"Okay Carisi you take upstairs I'll take downstairs. " Fin said handing Carisi a pair of gloves.

Fin immediately went back outside. "Okay. I'm the perp. I see the girls from the window. It doesn't the look like the parents are home. Do I break the door? No. I knock. Because I'm in disguise. But what am I disguised as?"

Mean while Carisi was upstairs where the assault had taken place. He was also talking to himself

"I get the girls up here. How?. What do I use to control them?."

It was 10:00 am when the girls were ready to be talked to. Nick would talk to the nurse and Amanda would talk to the girls.

"Hi girls. My name is Amanda and I'm part of the police. Can you tell me your names?"

The 10 year old spoke first. She had straight  Blonde  hair with a small braided headband. But her head was extremely bruised and a little bloody. "My name is Shae. I'm 10."

"That's good! Your doing great. Thank you Shae ." Turning to the three year old, she gently asked "what's your name honey?"

"My name is.....is..Blayke"

"Okay. Can either one of you tell me what happened?"

Blayke nodded. She began to tell what happened but then stopped. She stopped at the part where he was in their room.

"Blayke?" Amanda asked

The poor traumatized three year old began to sob. She wanted her parents but they were always at work. She didn't want her sister either.

Amanda sensing this, slowly sat on the bed. Making sure they were okay, she slowly put her hand out. "Blayke can I hold you?" She asked

Blayke nodded and seeing that the nice lady was pregnant, she carefully climbed into her lap.

Seeing the trust, Shae sat by Amanda as well. Slowly the story came tumbling out. By 3:00 pm everyone had finished and the parents were with their daughters.

When Amanda got to the precinct again she was wiped. Her back ached and her feet were killing her.

She was so tired she almost collapsed. Luckily Nick was right there and sat her on the couch.
"I am so tired." She sighed leaning onto Nick.

Alex returned a couple minutes later and saw their faces. They had solved the case easily but they were all exhausted. She went over to Liv and kissed her on the forehead.

Liv returned the kiss gladly. An exhausting day was ended with companions. Nick turned to Amanda and saw that she was fast asleep. Soon Liv fell asleep on Alex as well. Fin decided to go to the Amaros and the Benson-Cabots house and pick up the kids.

He was uncle fin so he did it with out a second thought. He got Noah and Hope who were holding hands fast asleep and then drove to Zaras school and picked her up.

She fell asleep in the car too. But by the time he returned she had woken up and was now holding Noah who was still asleep. Alex and Nick quickly adjusted the pregnant sleeping women and got up. Zara handed Noah to Alex and Nick took both Hope and Zara.

"I love you daddy" Zara sighed

"I love you too mi amor" he replied kissing her head.
