I breathed in and out and examined myself in the mirror. I put on the necklace and adjusted it.
You're beautiful and I love it.
I headed outside and drove over to Hugo's place. There he was. Looking as handsome as he always was.
"Let us go," He said, holding out his arm. I took it and we went over to Starbucks.
The first place we talked. You and me.
Okay?
As we entered, we got some looks. Obviously. He's wearing suit-like clothes and I'm wearing a dress. To Starbucks.
I don't care what they think.
"Ooh, Hugo. Usual?" One of the cashiers said when it was our turn. Hugo nodded and said, "One surprise for Cassie, please." The cashier, John, nodded and smiled.
I have a surprise for you.
As Hugo payed, I fidgeted with my dress. What was this surprise?
"HUGO AND CASSIE! CONGRATULATIONS!" I looked up and saw John holding a box. Another present.
Hugo grabbed it and handed it to me.
I opened it and it revealed..
