I'm running through woods that had come familar to me.

I could hear two fast sets of feet approaching.

Suddenly, Caine and Dad were running by my sides, hands stretched out to grab me.

I pushed myself harder.

I had to out run them, I didn't know why, just that I had to.

The trees break into a clearing. The clearing where Griffin and I spent the last full moon.

I run onto the field at full speed.

I soon hear Caine and Dad's heavy footsteps against the soft grass.

The howling air is soon filled by the howl of a wolf.

Griffin soon emerges from the opposite end of the clearing.

I think I'm running to him, but I'm not.

I take a sharp left turn and run away from all the men in my life.

I run and run.

My chest heaves up and down painfully.

My body slowly gives out, and my pace slows.

I urge my body to find the energy that is nonexistent.

I let out a blood curtling scream as I'm caught.

Griffin stands on top of me, crushing me bones.

Dad kicks my stomach, over and over until I'm crying.

Caine places an arrow in his bow.

He points it directly at my head and let's it fly.

I pounce out of bed with a scream.

"Jeez Veronica, we didn't mean to scare you." Chris says.

My head instantly snaps to the side.

Nate and Chris have the same shocked expression on their faces.

"Why are you here?"

"The pack is under attack."
