Chapter 4: A Bond is build

"Would you care to explain yourself, Tsukiko," Sesshomaru said

"Wait, Sesshomaru you know her?!" Inuyasha asked,
"Well, do you have something to say, Tsukiko?" Sesshomaru asked again,
"I...I..." Tsukiko unable to answer,

"Hey hey knock it off Sesshomaru you're pressing her!" Kagome said,
"Stand back," Sesshomaru said not diverting his eyes from Tsukiko,

Until the boy that she stayed with approaches her,
"Ah! Tsukiko! Come here quick, it's my grandpa!" The boy said,

With no hesitation she ran passed Sesshomaru, but he stops her by holding her shoulder.
"We are not finish yet," Sesshomaru said
"You can interrogate me after I check his grandfather! Please Sesshomaru!" Tsukiko said pleading, in the end Sesshomaru lets her go, and she quickly runs after the boy,

"Are you alright, sir?" Tsukiko asked the old man,
"Ugh...it's alright young lady...it's just a scratch ugh!" The old man's hand is black with poison,
"Please this is poisonous, I have to heal it!" Tsukiko's body began to glow,
And the old man's hand is healed, his hand no longer black with poison,

The others watch Tsukiko healed the old man, as for Sesshomaru he keeps his eyes on Tsukiko, making sure she does not try to run.

Tsukiko had treated the old man's hand, and is now sitting in below a tree along with Sesshomaru, Inuyasha and the others.
"My name is Tsukiko and...I'm a half-breed. To be precise a half-dog demon." Tsukiko said

"I see, so it is true. But Sesshomaru said there were only two full fledge dog demons but I guess he did not know of your existence," Miroku said

"When I was young I lived with my parents somewhere far away, you could say we were hiding from the world, I didn't know why, I never thought there's any need to ask," Tsukiko said,

"Hey, who's the demon, your father or your mother?" Inuyasha asked,
"Well it's my father, but you don't have to worry he's not your father," Tsukiko said knowing why Inuyasha asked,
"So your father is the demon so that makes your mother the human," Sango said

"Yes, that's right..." Tsukiko said
"Say...if your father's the demon...where's he now?" Inuyasha asked
Tsukiko shook her head,

"I see, so your's gone too..." Inuyasha said with an apologetic face,

"Well we won't ask anything further, but please tell me why was your hair black before?" Miroku said
"....well...it's because of this.." She held out a small crystal,
"Ohh what is it?" Kagome asked
"This crystal contains a small portion of spiritual powers, but it has ran out of power,
I was planning on leaving this village when the power runs out,"
"I see, it's pretty," Kagome said smiling to her,

"All right then, now that we know who the mysterious demon is, I think we should go home and tell Kaede," Kagome said
"Yeah, I hope the kids aren't troubling anyone," Sango said
"Tsukiko, why don't you come with us?" Kagome said

"Is it alright?"
"Of course, come on!" Kagome said to Tsukiko,
In the end, Inuyasha and the others head back to Kaede's village along with Tsukiko

Along the way...
Sesshomaru and Tsukiko are walking side by side, none of them are talking to each other, until Sesshomaru spoke up first,
"You...lost something did you?"
"Huh?...why'd you say that?" Tsukiko said looking up to him, Sesshomaru takes out the necklace he found,
When Tsukiko saw it, her eyes began to water,
