Chapter 9: The soul piper and the miserable little spirit part 1

In the next day.....
The group had left Jinenji's house and they are now walking in the forest,
"...what should we do now? Naraku has returned, do we search for him?" Miroku said
"We should go after him while his barrier's still weak," Sango said
"Problem is p, where is he?...Inuyasha?" Kagome looks at Inuyasha,

"His scent's gone, he doesn't want us to find him, unlike yesterday," Inuyasha said
"Tsukiko, did anything happen while you're with Naraku yesterday?" Shippo asked, Tsukiko had been silent ever since they left Jinenji's house,
"No...nothing really happened...I was forced to smell too much miasma and I became weak," Tsukiko said with an unemotional face,

"It must've been hard for you," Shippo said, Tsukiko just kept on walking silently....

Suddenly, screams of children can be heard through the air, 
"Ahhh! W-what's going on!?"
"Run!"
All of the kids that were playing ran away, when they look to the direction the kids ran away from, they see a tree on fire!

"Waahh! The tree's on fire!" Shippo said
"Huh! IRON REAVER SOUL STEALER!!" Inuyasha cuts down the tree, and the flames were gone "Hey! You kids! Watch where you're using fire you might cause an accident,"

"I-It wasn't us! We were only playing hide and seek, then s-suddenly the tree was on fire," One of the kids said,
Suddenly, Kagome and Tsukiko felt someone's presence behind them, when they turn around, it was a little girl! Her dress's old and are torn, and she has many scratches on her body,

"Tsukiko, do you see her too?" Kagome asked,
"Yeah.." Tsukiko said

"Darn it! Why that demon! He messed up everything!" The girl said angered she started to run away,
"Wait! Stop!" Tsukiko called out to the girl, and the girl stopped,

"Was it you who start the fire?" Tsukiko asked,
"W-what y-you can see me?" The girl asked,
'What's wrong with this girl? Her clothes are torn and her whole body is covered in scratches,' Tsukiko thought as she looks at the girl, 
"Why did you start the fire?" Tsukiko asked,
"Hmph! It's none of your business! Go away!" The girl shouted at Tsukiko and a circle of fire forms around them,
"Leave me alone! Stay away!" The girl then flies to the sky and a large-round-yellow demon appears behind her, as is holding which seems like a flute,

"That's-!" Kagome is surprised to see the demon, but the girl soon vanished along with the demon,
"What was that demon?" Tsukiko said to herself,
"It's the soul piper," Kagome said,

"The soul pi-! Ouch!" Tsukiko then slaps her neck, and something or someone is flat on her palm,
"Oh the pain!" The thing spoke, and it turns out to be non other than....Myoga!
"Myoga! When did you came here?" Shippo said landing on Tsukiko's shoulder,

"Ahhh! I came just a few moments ago, and I smelled some nice blood in this girl, so I decided to taste some o-!" Myoga is suddenly squeezed by Tsukiko's fingers,
"What do you mean taste?" A sudden threatening aura appears around Tsukiko,
"Y-yes! Forgive me, Tsukiko!" Myoga apologized,
"Wait how'd you know her name? She hasn't met you," Inuyasha said,
"Oh that I heard Kagome called her name," Myoga said,

"So about the soul piper,"
"Ah yes! The soul piper is a demon, It plays a flute and plays with the child or children until it is ready to go to either heaven or hell. It's eyes are usually closed, but each time a certain soul does wrong, the eyes will open a bit. But when the eyes are fully open, it will no longer be a peaceful demon," Myoga said
"I encountered the soul piper once in my time when a girl called Mayu died, she became a vengeful spirit because she thought that her mother didn't care for her, but in the end she had a change of heart and she was saved," Kagome said,
