Tsukiko~(an Inuyasha fanfic) [[^COMPLETED^]]

Chapter 40: The fight is on!

After almost an hour of fighting and climbing,
Sesshomaru along with Naraku and Inuyasha are almost at the peek of the mountain,
They slay many living dead and demons from the underworld as they climb,

"Damn it! Why are there so many of them!?" Inuyasha said
"He's not holding back is he..." Naraku said

"Well that won't stop us from getting to him BAKUSAIGA!!!"

Meanwhile...
Kagome and the others are still fighting off the living dead,
"Hit the mark!" Kagome shot her sacred arrow,
"Hiraikotsu!!"

"Ah...at times like this I wish I have my wind tunnel," Miroku said
"You're still going on about that, like I said once you don't need your wind tunnel!" Sango said

"FOX FIRE!!!" Shippo unleashed his fox fire but it became smaller by the minute,
"Shippo!...are you okay?" Kagome asked him,
"Haaa...I'm worn out..." Shippo said

"Don't worry...just take a break," Kagome said
"Haaaa...I'm really not cut out for this..." Totosai said breathing heavily,
"This is not good..." Saya said looking at the others that are now exhausted,

Suddenly a giant stream of fire appears from the sky, when the others turn to look at the source of the flame, they see Tsukiko.
"Tsukiko! But why are you here?..." Kagome asked,

"I thought you guys might needed my help," Tsukiko said "and I brought someone..."
Kagome turns toward the direction where Tsukiko is pointing, and she sees a young woman. She easily slaughtered the dead with her sword.

"Who's that?" Kagome asked,
Then the young woman walks toward them, she opens her mask to reveal her green eyes and green hair,
"You're...."

"It's nice to meet you...my name's Hikari and I'm a half breed," The young woman introduced herself
"A half breed?"
"...what business do you have here? Surely there must be a reason..." Miroku asked,

"Yes...you see my father is up there," Hikari points at the mountain,
"Huh?....HUUUH!?" They all shouted in surprise,

They decided to head somewhere safe, meanwhile Tsukiko formed a wide and deep cliff which causes the dead to fall if they try to cross the otherside.
Hikari told them what happened to the village years ago,

She told them that the village was once inhabited by demons and humans, which led to half breeds being born in the village. The village was at peace, but one day the previous lord died, and his son took on his throne.
However the young prince was unlike his father, he despised demons for a hidden reason.

Lord Kino summoned many strong monks, priestess and priests to exterminate the demons in the village. But a few villagers opposed the young lords and they were slaughtered.
The demons were unable to fight back and they were slaughtered and but the half breeds were sparred,

Hikari was a half breed but strangely Lord Kino took her in as his own daughter, but at that time she was infant not knowing anything and what happened.
After 15 years passed, Hikari found out what happened 15 years ago. She became frightened and left the castle, only to be found by Kitsurugu, a demon who was once a villager in Kino's castle.
Kitsurugu told her that her Kino was planning to use the half breeds as slaves to advance his castle. Which caused Hikari to hate Kino more.
