Chapter 50: In the cold...

In the next morning....
The group wakes up in the morning but just then...
"Guys...where's Tsukiko?" Kagome asked,
"What do you mean? She's right over-wha!" Inuyasha said but then stops when he doesn't see Tsukiko anywhere,

"Now that I think about it...we haven't seen her since we woke up," Miroku said
"And where's Sesshomaru?...he's gone too," Sango said
"Don't tell me those two went somewhere together..." Shippo said
"...I doubt that..." Kagome mumbled,

"Huh? What do you mean?" Inuyasha asked,
"Well...you see..." In the end Kagome told the others about what happened between Tsukiko and Sesshomaru.

"What the hell!?" Inuyasha shouted out of anger,
"Inuyasha...,"
"What's with her!?" Shippo complained as well,
"Well it's not surprising that Sesshomaru's mother has that point of view, Sesshomaru once hated humans and half breeds as well," Miroku said
"Yeah but still...!"

"In the meantime, we have to find Tsukiko. Sesshomaru is capable of taking care of himself, who knows what Tsukiko might be doing now," Sango said
"Sango's right, with the way her emotion is right now I don't think she's thinking straight," Kagome said
"Let's go!" Inuyasha said and they set out to find Tsukiko,

Meanwhile...
Sesshomaru is flying through the sky, then he flies up to the clouds and arrives in front of his mother's castle.
"Sesshomaru...you've returned, I am not surprised," His mother said
"We need to talk," Sesshomaru said his voice sounded hard,

"Why...!? Why did you try to separate us!?" Sesshomaru asked as he bangs his fist on the wall,
"Sigh...it is not often that I see you loose your calm Sesshomaru, why does that girl make you so frustrated?" His mother asked,
"So it was because of you...you were the one who told Tsukiko to leave me,"
"Whatever do you mean Sesshomaru? It is really strange for you to get infuriated because of a girl. Has she perhaps did something to you? Perhaps he threatened you?...no impossible, or is it because she offers you her body?-!"

Suddenly Sesshomaru slams his fist on the wall creating a hole,
"Enough....she's not that kind of girl..." Sesshomaru said his voice sounded hoarse,
"Is that so? She probably used you for her own selfish wish-!"
"I said enough...! When I brought Rin here three years ago...I thought you've at least seen humans and half breeds in a different light...but I was wrong," Sesshomaru said

"I came to tell you this....I will spend the rest of my life with Tsukiko," Sesshomaru said

Then he turns to leave,
"Wait Sesshomaru! You intend to sacrifice your reputation as a great demon? For what, so that you can spend your life with a half breed?...I've turned my eyes away from everything you've done but I will not turn away in this matter...!" His mother said
"What's your reason for wanting to stay with her?" Is mother asked,
