Chapter 49: Another obstacle

In the next morning...
The sound of two demons fighting each rings through the forest,

Inuyasha and Sesshomaru are training with each other,
"Whoa...look at those two go.." Tsukiko said
"Well at least they're trying to kill each other," Kagome said

"It was quite unexpected that Sesshomaru wants to train with Inuyasha," Sango said
"Indeed, I wonder what happened?" Miroku asked as he looks at Tsukiko,
"You were the one who convinced him, huh?" Kagome asked,
"Well...I kind of did.." Tsukiko said

"Hehe..how's your relationship with Sesshomaru doing?" Kagome asked with a teasing smile, but then Tsukiko blushes.
"W-well it's going well...I...really do...love him..." Tsukiko said as she fidgets her fingers,
"Ahhhh! Tsukiko you're so cute!!" Kagome said as she hugs Tsukiko tightly,
"Ahhh! Kagome you're embarrassing me!" Tsukiko shouted,

After that, Sesshomaru and Inuyasha finally stopped.
"Whew..!" Inuyasha wiped his sweat from his forehead,
"Hmph!..." Sesshomaru scoffs with a smile,

"Good work you two!" Kagome and the others went toward them,
"Well since the two of you have finished training, shall we get going?" Miroku asked,
"Yeah sure! After all we did get a lead about the winter crystal right?" Inuyasha said

"Yeah...last night I had a dream about where the winter crystal's location is," Tsukiko said
"Well it's a good thing," Sango said
"Alright then, let us be on our way," Miroku said
"Yeah!" Tsukiko said happily,

She went toward Sesshomaru and held his arm, Sesshomaru smiles down at her and she smiles back. And they walked together while holding each other's hand.

And they start to head toward the winter crystal's location, but unknown to them that a familiar person is watching over them from afar.

As they travel for a few hours, the group decided to take a break and sat down under the shade of trees,
"Hmmm...this dangos are delicious!" Tsukiko said
"Yeah they sure are!" Shippo said

Before they sat down, they came across a dango shop and bought a few dangos for their snack.
"It was right to stop by," Kagome said

Meanwhile Sesshomaru is gazing up at the clouds, his eyes look serious.
"Sesshomaru...? What's wrong?" Tsukiko asked,
"Hm? It's nothing.." Sesshomaru said bluntly,
"Don't try to fool me, you've been staring the clouds for awhile," Tsukiko said

"Are you sick perhaps?" Tsukiko place her hand on his forehead,
"You got it wrong that's not what I-huh?" Sesshomaru then turns to the sky again, this time the others saw a shadow of a demon.

"What is that?" Kagome asked,
"Hm? This scent..." Inuyasha said
"What does she want?" Sesshomaru asked in an annoying tone, then he flies to the sky.
"Wait Sesshomaru!" Tsukiko called out to him,
