I have no idea why people think that talking to a guy is girl language for flirting. Yes, I know I bother my friends when they go and talk to boys for whatever reason, and I know that I also laugh at other girls that go talk to boys for whatever reason, but at least I DO recognize that it's kinda stupid.

Like, just because someone isn't a jerk towards a certain person doesn't mean they are flirting, it just means they are being nice or whatever you call it. 

And this also happens with boys too, except only us girls bother them XD

What I'm saying is that in my class, we have these kind of scenarios:

Girl 1: *hanging out at the 'boy' table while the girls are sitting at a separate table*

Girl 2: Why is she always over there?

Me: Hey [insert name here] you know we are sitting over here, right? *raises eyebrows*

Girl 1: *either rolls their eyes, ignores us, or sighs in exasperation*

Girl 3: Why is she always over there all the time?

Boy 1: *has to sit with girls or goes to ask something to group of girls*

Girl 1: *talking towards Girl 2* Ohhhhh [insert name] get jealouuusss!! He's mine nowww(teasing of course)

Girl 2: Ugh, why you bother so much

(jessie you know what I'm talking about ;) wink wink)

And then there is always this one guy who smothers up to another guy as if they were in love...

and if you're in my class, you HAVE to know who I'm talking about

Anyways,

I just wanted to say that there are three general types of flirting and they are pretty easy to recognize. I'll name them:

Subtle Flirting: Flirt-er smiles wide, laughs gently, or holds subject's gaze the whole time while talking or during any type of exchange. Leans in forward a lot, always switches to catch the subject's eye

Obvious Flirting: Flirt-er laughs loudly, acts weirdly to attract attention, joins subject in whatever activity they do, tries to be near subject or related to subject in any way(competitions, preferences, things in common, anything really)

Mean Flirting: Flirt-er acts unnaturally mean or snobby towards subject to attract attention, pretends to be disgusted at subject, rolls eyes at anything subject does or says

You'll see them in action everyday
