Rescued

Percy's POV

How long has it been?

A month? A week? A few days? A few hours? A minute?

Half of my mind wanted to give up on the hope of being rescued, but I knew that my friends wouldn't leave me.

At least they've left me alone.

Leo's POV

I pace along the deck of the Argo II, as the other demigods and wizards watch me.

We've been sailing for a day or so now, but haven't seen any signs of Percy, You Know Who, or giants.

It almost seems too quiet.

I mean, we did lose two valuable camp members, and some of them were closer to others than the rest of us.

Nico seems to be darker than usual lately. I feel really bad; he's lost so many people who were close to him.

Luckily he still has Hazel, and his sister back at Hogwarts.

I put on a positive attitude, and turn to the crew members

"Okay, so I know this week has been extremely tough" I say. "But remember what our quest is."

Hermione pipes up "Has our quest changed? I mean, this was supposed to be a short, small quest. We were just supposed to find something or someone that could help Nico's sister."

I turn to her "Yes, this quest has taken quite a lot of turns. But, we'll continue our quest."

Hermione shrugs, and turns back to her friends.

Hazel's POV

I don't get it.

Why do bad things always happen to Nico?

Can't the gods let him be happy for just once?

I walk over to him, and lean my head against his shoulder.

He gives me a small smile, but it dissipates, and then he looks away.

"Nico, you can talk to me. You know that right?" I say, trying to comfort him.

He doesn't say anything back, but nods.

I feel really bad about Will's death. He's already lost his mother and sister. We don't even know the state of his other sister, Melanie. Is it possible to IM some Hogwarts student?

Jason's POV

I lean over the edge of the Argo II, trying to look for the cave that Nico saw in his dream.

I ask Leo to descend lower, so that I can see things clearer.

*time skip-ish*

We travel over a range of mountains, and I spot something.

"There" I say, pointing at an opening at one of the mountains.

The Argo II gets lower, and we climb out from the ship.

"Does your scar hurt, Harry?" Hermione asks, and Harry shakes his head no.

I turn to her and ask "Why would his scar hurt?"

"He has a scar from when the Dark Lord tried to kill him as an infant. He survived the Killing Curse, but that's why he has the scar"

We head up to the cave, and I spot the symbol that Nico had drawn.

Cautiously, we sneak into the cave.

I hear a yelp, and turn to face Harry, who has brought his hand to his forehead.

"Harry, is he here?" The red-haired boy asks frantically.

Harry winces and replies "I don't know, I think so. He's close."

We hear a distant voice calling "Hello? Is anyone there?"

Percy's POV

I hear scuffling somewhere in the cave, but it sounds different.

It's too light to be the giants.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" I call out, hoping that the giants wouldn't hear.

I hear the scuffling get faster, closer, and louder.

I call out again.

A minute or so later, a familiar face pops out.

Thomas, the Son of Hecate.

He helps untie me from my bounds, and leads me out.

"Percy!" I hear, and turn to face my group of friends.

I look around, but notice somethings wrong.

"Is someone missing?" I ask

They all exchange glances, and Jason steps up "We'll talk on the Argo II"

Thomas follows behind me and the group back to the ship.

Nico notices him, and tenses up.

He mouths to him something that I couldn't catch.

Jason's POV

"Percy, Will and Annabeth were killed in battle"

Percy falls to the floor, clutching his head.

Exhausted, he nods and walks below the deck of the Argo II.

He must feel awful.

Thomas's POV

I did it my Lord, I've infiltrated their group

DUN DUN DUN, MEHEHEHE. Honestly, I have no idea what I'm writing anymore. I'm literally just writing whatever comes to mind in the moment. I'll probably revisit some of the dead characters, probably in dreams or something. I'm trying to reconnect what's happening here to my previous chapeters, but meh.

I'll try to update soon (I'm on spring break soon)
