Sorry for not updating in a while, I've been extremely busy with school...here's a new chapter (sorry if it's short)

Nico's POV

I step out of the shadows into a dark area, but tiny lights float around.

Where am I?

Nico

I turn my head towards the sound of my name being called.

"Hello?" I call out. "Who's there"

Nico

I walk towards where I think I hear the voice coming from, and suddenly I'm falling.

I can feel the rush of the air tickle my skin as the adrenaline pumps through my body.

Nico

I hear my name, loud and clear as I land onto the solid ground.

"Who even are you?" I ask, looking around blindly.

I am your past, present, and future. I am you, Nico.

"What do you want?" I say, slightly confused and annoyed.

You.

~~~~~Meanwhile, the group waiting grows impatient~~~~~

Percy's POV

"But why not?" I complain to the others, pacing around while we waited for Nico to return.

"Nico clearly stated that he wanted us to wait until he returned, and confirmed that it was safe" Hermione said.

I roll my eyes. "Don't you know me? I don't do instructions"

*time skip*

Nico stumbles out, looking paler than he had before.

"You okay, Neeks?"

Nico whips his head towards me, giving me an intense death glare.

Hazel walks over to Nico, talking to him.

He whispers something into her ear, and Hazel looked shocked.

"Bu-but you can't do that" she mumbles, as small tears are forming on her face.

Nico takes her hand, and gives her a hug.

Hazel's POV

Nico walks over to the bridge, and motions for us to follow.

He leads our group, as we follow behind him.

Demigods and wizards? What a nice treat...

"Leave them alone" Nico says.

Oh, you think that you can save them? Would you really do that?

"Yes."

Very well...you're lucky I'm in a good mood.

A blast of energy erupts from beneath us, knocking us out.

Before everything goes black, I hear Nico's voice.

"I'm sorry, I hope one day you'll understand."
