Phil sat on the couch, trying to drown out Dan's screams with some music from the outside world, and believe me it wasn't easy.Phil felt bad for Dan he couldn't even begin to imagine the pain he's in right now. Phil imagined bones popping, twisting, taking a new form. It made him sick to his stomach.
Knock knock
Phil looked up at the door
Knock knock
Phil finally got up and opened the door to find... The apartment manager.
"Oh hello.... Sir, what can I do you for"
"I've gotten an urgent call from a person in this apartment claiming to hear screams late at night" the manager said a little annoyed
Phil pulled at his shirt collar, sweat dripping down his forehead
"It might just be my tv, I like to watch horror movies late at night" Phil lied
The manager looked at Phil, stareing deeply into his eyes
"Wait a minute your not the guy I rented this apartment too" The manager said
Phil, freaking out went to drastic measures and looked deep into the man's eyes hypnotizing him.
"Why don't you come in?" Phil asked in a suducing voice
The man did as he was told, he walked in and sat down on the couch.Phil sat next to him unsure of what too do.
"You know this is actually the first time I've actually hypnotized a mortal" Phil said too the man
Of the course the man didn't say anything
Finally after a couple hours of screams, it all finally died down. Dan came out of the room and went to the living room to find Phil and a strange man sitting on the couch.
Phil looked up at Dan and freaked out
"Oh hi Dan meet my new friend Mr. Apartment Manager, hehe" Phil said nervously
Dan looked at Phil and then to the man then back at Phil
"Phil, why is he here!" Dan yelled
Phil scratched the back of his neck
"Well he came up because he got a complaint that someone could hear screams from this room, then he figured out that I wasn't you so I freaked out and hypnotized him"
Dan groaned and sat down on the couch
"I knew living in an apartment was a bad idea, I just knew that those walls wouldn't be thick enough....I'm doomed" Dan said covering his face with his hands
Phil side frowned, he could see the managers exposed neck and started to get urges, Phil shook his head and looked down at the ground. Dan looked at Phil.
"Are you ok Phil?" Dan asked.
Phil shook his head again
"Mom was right those pastries aren't going to be enough, but I can't end up like my father once was"
Dan looked at Phil confused
"Phil are you... Hungry?" Dan asked
