This had been the first good night sleep Dan has had in awhile, Even though his body had overwhelming amounts of pain he was able to get up, take a nice hot shower and eat a nice breakfast with Phil which consisted of bacon, ham, and eggs.Of course Phil didn't eat anything. Dan stuffed his face and smiled brightly, He looked at Phil and frowned.
"Are you OK Phil?" Dan asked with a mouth full of food.
Phil shook his head and got up from the table and sat on the couch.
"Do you ever wish you could be normal?" Phil asked.
Dan swallowed
"No of course not, I just love turning into an evil beast, wanting to kill people and eat meat, it's a blast" Dan said annoyed.
Phil shook his head
"I was actually doing some research and I found a spell that can change a monster back into a human" Phil said.
Dan's eyes got wide
"You did, when, where?" Dan asked
"When you were at work I went to the library and checked out some spell books, I got some stares for wearing sunglasses in doors and having pasty skin, but it was worth it" Phil said laughing
Dan chuckled
"So how do we change back?" Dan asked
Phil sighed scratching the back of his neck
"We have to steal a special kind of flower and make a potion... But there's a catch"
Dan wiped his mouth
"What catch?" Dan asked
"The flower that we need is in the hands of.... My father...I've seen the caretakers plant it before but I never knew what it did" Phil said
Dan stood up
"Well what are we waiting for let's go" Dan said running to his room to pack
Phil chuckled and stood up as well. But his smile quickly turned into a frown we he remembered one crucial detail. The flower would work on him, he's been a vampire way too long, almost 200 years to be exact.
But he wasn't going to tell Dan, he might not want to go back to normal if Phil doesn't, or he might, who knows
Dan walked back in the room, dressed and ready
"Come on Phil let's go and turn back to normal"
Phil smiled and followed Dan out the door
"You don't have a bag?" Dan asked
"Where we're going, I won't need one"
