Dan and Phil finally got into the castle and had to duck and hide from the many guards.
"So before we go any farther, I have a confession to make, I found out that the blue plant won't help" Phil said sighing
Dan put a hand on Phil's shoulder.
"I know Lyra told me"
Phil smiled.
"Let's go!"
Dan and Phil ran through the castle and finally found the throne room.
Phil opened the door and walked in.
"Mom, Dad I'm home."
But only silence came and the room was dark.
Then all of a sudden Dan felt weak and he fainted.
"Dan!" Phil yelled
Then Phil got hit unconscious.

"Awe little brother you've finally decided to wake up"
Phil woke up and discovered that he was in a cage.
He growled and showed his fangs.
Martyn just laughed
"Common knowledge bro, fangs don't work on vampires"
Phil snarled
"What do you want?" Phil asked
"I want ultimate power and with the help of Veronica"
Martyn pointed four fingers at Veronica as she was holding the amulet.
"Martyn stop this, don't you realize she's using you, as soon as she kills me she'll kill you" Phil said holding on to the bars.
"You know he's right" Veronica said as she hit Martyn with a needle and he fell to the floor.
"Nooooo!"Phil yelled
Phil looked at Dan and saw that he was chained to the wall.
He looked back at Veronica with blood red eyes.
"You forgot one tiny thing Veronica, you can't become human by killing the vampire that bit you, that only works for werewolves."
Phil laughed
Veronica stopped in her tracks, she then looked at the amulet and smiled.
"Fine I can just kill you with this."
Phil laughed again
"Do you even know how to use it?" He asked
Veronica smiled
"I just say a few magic words."
Phil started getting worried.
He looked over at Dan and he looked pissed.
Then all of a sudden Dan began to change, but he didn't scream, he just changed and escaped.
Dan attacked Veronica which made her drop it, Dan grabbed and threw it on the ground, it broke into a million pieces then out of know where she pulled a knife out of her back picked and stabbed Dan in the chest.
Phil pulled the bars back with all his might and was free. Then he did something he'd regret in the future.
He ran over to Veronica and bit her neck, the blood rushed down his chin
Phil felt the blood on his lip, tears started forming in his eyes
He looked over at Dan and immediately ran over to him.
"No please Dan not like this" Phil pleated holding Dan in his arms
Phil put his face in his chest and began to cry.
"Hello sweet hearts"
Phil looked up to see Lyra holding a spell book.
"Lyra what are you doing here?" Phil asked
"I have a sixth sense so I knew you guys would need me"
Phil smiled but immediately looked back down at Dan with tears running down his face.
"He's dying what are we going to do?" Phil asked
Lyra bent down and looked at Phil
"We can either let him die here or I have another plan" Lyra said
"What is it"Phil said looking up at her
"I can make him become human and sent him back home"
Phil smiled
"You should have told us you could do this sooner"
"But there's a catch" Lyra said " he'll be human but it will be like you never met, he won't be born a werewolf and he will never meet you"
Phil looked at Dan's almost lifeless body and sighed
"If it will save my best friend then do it!" Phil demanded
Lyra looked in her spell book and started to conjure up a spell.
"Good bye Dan I'll never forget you" Phil said as soon as Dan disappeared.
Phil stood up and wiped a tear from his eye.
"Lyra did you find my parents?" He asked
Lyra nodded
"There in their rooms"
Lyra looked down at the amulet and smiled.
"So Dan was the Chosen one" Lyra said
Phil smiled
"The chosen one to be my friend"
