Dan and Phil finally got to Transylvania much of their relief.
Phil finally felt better after getting a good night sleep.
Phil looked at the village he had ran away from just a couple months ago.
It's looked the same since 1912...before that was a fire that took the whole village with it. Then 13 years later they rebuilt the whole village.
Dan then spotted a eatery and pointed it out to Phil.
"Come on I'm starving" Dan said
They walked in and the restaurant was quiet...too quiet.
There was only one man at the bar drying a cup.
Phil walked up to the guy and coughed .
"Excuse me but may I ask where everyone is?" Phil asked politely with dignity and grace.
The man looked up and was star struck.
He walked around the counter and towards Phil.
He bowed
"Your majesty" the man said
Dan smiled and laughed a little bit, he had totally forgot his best friend was royalty.
"Ever since your brothers taken over, he's been killing people for their blood so many of the villagers have fled" the man said as he stood up
Phil was taken back by this and he could feel his blood boil.
"Don't worry, I'm gonna stop him"
The man smiled
"Thank you" he said
Phil looked at Dan and nodded, that's when they both left.
As soon as Phil looked up at the window he'd always look out of he started to have visions of the fire that happened in 1899
He fell to his knees as the screams of terror went through his mind.
Then Phil saw a face, the face that was looking up at him when the village was in flames and he couldn't do anything to help.
The face of his first friend.
"Phil are you ok!?" Dan asked in a panic.
Phil got up and wiped his shoulders.
"I know what happened to my friend"
Dan looked at Phil confused.
"Friend?" Dan asked
"My first friend, the friend Ive ever made, every day he'd come to my window and wave at me everyday.. But in 1900 he died in that fire" Phil said.
Dan frowned
"I'm sorry"
"Why don't we go find his grave and maybe say hi to him?"Dan asked
Phil smiled
"Sure"

Phil's first friend
"So this was your friend?" Dan asked
"Yep that's Dal Aston" Phil said
Dan bend down and touched the stone
"Hi Dal thanks for keeping my best friend sane.. For the most part" Dan laughed
Phil snorted and shook his head
"Let's go" Phil said
Dan stood up and they both started walking back to the village.
"So you lived during 1912 right?" Dan asked
"Yeah why?" Phil asked
"Did you get any news papers with reports on the sinking of the Titanic?" Dan asked.
Phil glared at Dan.
"No I never left the castle, so I never got news about a ship sinking"
Dan laughed
