It didn't take long for Derek to heal and leave with Peter. Micky visibly relaxed once they were gone. Bucky relaxed because Mickeyla relaxed, he didn't care abou the men but he cared about her. She laid on the couch in a ball. Although she didn't have to worry about the werewolves, she still had a sad look. The memories of her relationship with Derek haunted her. Bucky noticed her sad look and he sat next to her

"You alright?" He asked

"*sigh* Just bad memories. Nothing to worry about" she said, but she didn't smile. Bucky wanted to see her smile. When he had bad memories, she was the distraction he needed, but how could he become her distraction in this case? How could he help?

"Do you... want to talk about it?" He offered. Micky glanced at him and bit her lower lip in thought

"I, um... it hurt when I found out he was cheating on me. It was the first time I actually fell in love... but I guess I was more in love with the idea of love itself" she made a face "Forgiving means not letting the emotions of that mistake rule your behavior towards the person... I seriously don't care that much, I mean, I healed the guy but... I haven't forgiven him completely, and that makes me weak"

"Why would that make you weak?" Bucky asked confussed

"Because I can't think with a clear mind, I give up to my animal insticts. Being strong means being able to forgive, to respect, to treat others like how you want to be treated without caring about names or skin color or sexuality. That's really difficult to do; aceptance, tolerance and forgiveness is what makes you better that others, it gives you spiritual strenght"

Bucky had nothing to say to that, he could only stare in amazement at the girl

"You really are something else" he said. Micky smiled

"Oh, the muffins!" She said and stood up rushing to the kitchen. Bucky followed and arrived to see her opening the oven "I turned off the oven but I forgot to take them out" she pulled out the plate and took one muffin handing it to Bucky "Try it" Bucky took the muffin and analyzed it "It's not poisoned, see?" She proved her point by taking a bite from another muffin

Bucky slowly took a bite, his eyes widened at the flavor. He closed his eyes as he enjoyed

"They're delicious" he said still chewing

"Why thank you, kind sir" she said with a proud smile

They enjoyed their muffins in comfortable silence until Bucky's curiosity got the best of him

"So... werewolves" he said "what else is real?"

"Almost everything" Micky said "I've bought some books and made some notes in them. Legends, myths... all real" she explained

"So... you are a psychic" he stater while taking in the information "How does that work?"

"Well, I just suddenly know stuff. Either from the past, present or future. I have hunches that are usually right. But I can't just turn it on and off. I mean, psychics usually can, but I've never had someone to teach me. I supposely also have a connection with spirits but I've never seen any so far" she shrugged

"Your world sounds dangerous" Bucky said

"It is" Micky agreed "Some of my friends didn't make it" she said with sad eyes "We are secret heroes. We save lives without anyone knowing. I don't care about the attention but I wish my fallen friends were remembered by heroes"

"They will be remembered by you" Bucky said

"Yeah..." Micky agreed

Bucky thought then about his friends, they were heroes. Steve, Dum Dum, Gabe, all the Howling Commandos. They were all heroes and... Bucky Barnes was considered a hero too... but he wasn't a hero, he was a murderer. He wasn't worthy to be called a hero. Micky noticed his clenched jaw and hard eyes that looked away from her

"Hey, what's wrong?" She asked. Bucky felt guilty, he was trying to focus on her and make her feel better and it was suddenly turning backwards

"Nothing" he said

"Don't lie to me, Buck" she said softly "Did you remember something?"

"No, I just-" he started but didn't know what to say exactly "Your friends are secret heroes that deserve to be honoured. Then there are my friends from the war who are heroes and are honoured. And then there's me" he paused clenching his fists "I am considered a hero, but I'm not. I don't deserve it"

"Oh, Bucky" Micky reached and put her hand over his "You are a hero, not only in the war but also when they weren't controlling you. You helped prisioners escape, you tried to fight back. You are still a hero"

"Most people would say I'm a villian"

"A mouse would say a cat is a villian"

"That doesn't even make sense" Bucky argued

"It means that people are afraid of what they are intimidated by. Doesn't mean they are bad" she said offering a small smile. Bucky thought about her words

"I don't want to be intimidating. At least not to everyone" he said "Not to you" he said looking at her. She smiled

"You don't scare me, Buck" Micky said "I know you're a softy on the inside"

"I'm not a softy" he complained

"Yes, you are" she said cheerfully

"I am a mastered assasin, I am not a softy" he said. When he realized what he said, he worried he had scared Micky, he had said it as a joke and in a joking tone but it was also a frightening truth. But Mickeyla kept giggling and smiling as if it was funny

"You are a softly to me" she said with a soft smile. Bucky smiled back, she was right. He was a softy to her, but only to her
