"How do chinese people do this?" Bucky asked while trying to use the chop sticks to eat his noodles. Micky giggled while picking up her sweet chicken with her sticks and putting them in her mouth. They were sitting side by side in a chinese restaurant, something completely new for Bucky

"It's not that hard" Micky said

"Yes it is" Bucky said picking up the chopsticks, he tried to grab them and closed them on the noodles but they slipped out. He frowned and decided to eat the meat instead, again, the meet fell from the sticks. Micky giggled

"Here, let me" she said reaching with her sticks and picking up a piece of meat easily, she moved it towards Bucky's mouth and fed him. Bucky pouted

"I feel like a child" he said

"You are a childish man, Buck" she said

"Am not" Bucky argued. Micky raised her eyebrows almost saying 'Really?'. Bucky realized what he had said and how he said it and started laughing, Micky laughed too. A waitress was passing by and Micky called her

"Sorry, could we have a fork please?" Micky asked with a smile

"Of course" the waitress said glancing at Bucky amused before leaving to get it

"This isn't embarasaing at all" Bucky said sarcastically making Micky giggle. Bucky gave up and pluged his chopsticks vertically into his noodles. Micky left her chopsticks and went to put Bucky'a chopsticks down. Bucky frowned confussed at her

"You shouldn't put the chopsticks like that when you eat, they represent the incense of funerals in most parts of Asia" Micky said

"What is incense?" Bucky asked

"They are this sticks that you light up and the smell. Very common in Asia" Micky explained

"How do you know about that?" Bucky asked

"I read" she said grinning. The waitress came back with the fork and they thanked her. Bucky left the chopsticks and ate with the fork "Sushi is also eaten with chopsticks" Micky commented

"What the hell is shusi?" Bucky asked with a mouth-full of noodles

"Sushi" Micky corrected"Japanesse traditional food. It consists of raw fish with differens plants and a lot of rice" Micky said

"When I was little, the only way you could eat that was by going to Japan itself" Bucky said after swallowing his food

"Globalization has brought together so many different cultures from which we can learn" Micky said "and the food is good"

"I can't deny that" Bucky agreed putting a piece of meat in his mouth

After they had lunch, they planned on driving back to their apartment and watch a movie. 'Our apartment'. It felt weird but nice to Bucky. Belonging somewhere, belonging with someone. He liked that

As they were driving, Micky looked in an alley. She clearly saw three teenagers laughing and a dog tied up. She checked the street, it was a two way street but no one was behind her or coming from the other way. She quickly made a sharp 'U' turn scaring Bucky in the process. She parked right in front of the alley an got out of the car leaving a confussed and slightly scared Bucky in the passenger seat

"Hey!" She callled at the teenagers. The 3 of them were obviously taller and bigger than her but she didn't care. She looked at the rocks in the teenagers' hands and a scared dog tied up to a pipe with a rope, parts of its body bleeding. She was definitely pissed "What the fuck do you think you're doing?!" She yelled advancing towards them

"It's none of your business" one boy said, he was obviously the leader out of the three of them

"You're hurting an innocent animal!" She yelled getting into the guy's face

"It doesn't matter. It's just a dog" another guy said

"And you three are just assholes!" She said. Mickeyla usually didn't curse, but she was beyond pissed by now

"Listen, hot stuff, just get out of here" the first guys said putting a hand in her shoulder in an attempt to push her away. Micky instantly slapped his arm away rather harshly

"I'm not letting you cotinue torturing this poor creature. You have exactly 3 seconds to get out of here before I beat the hell out of you!" She threatened. The teenagers only laughed

Bucky had seen everything standing outside of the passenger seat. He could see the rage in Micky's eyes. He approached them and stood behind Micky giving the teenagers the best glare he had. They stop laughing when they noticed him

"Is there a problem?" Bucky asked, daring them to do something wrong

"N-no. No, there's no problem, dude" the leader said. Bucky quickly glanced at Micky

"Were you laughing at my girl?" He said putting his arm around her waist

"No. No, of course not. Um, we were just leaving" the third boy that hadn't said anything before talked

"No, we weren't" the first guy said

"Drake. Just drop it" the second guy said

Drake glared at Bucky and then at Micky before turning around and leaving, the others following after him. Micky relaxed once they were away. She turned to Bucky

"Your girl?" She asked with a teasing smirk

"And only mine" Bucky said kissing her head "what was all that about?"

"They were throwing rocks at this poor dog" Micky said walking towards the dog. The dog was laying on the ground and quickly stood up when she approached him, he was limping trying to get away. Micky crounched down "Hey, hey. It's ok. I'm not gonna hurt you" she talked softly looking at the dog's eyes "I'm your friend" she smiled

The dog didn't move. Micky approached him slowly with her hand stretched out. When she knew the dog wouldn't bite her, she got closer. Bucky watched the whole interaction from where he was standing, he knew Micky worked with dogs in the animal shelter but he hadn't seen how good she was with untrained dogs. When Micky touched the dog's cheek, the dog leaned into her touch. She got closer until the dog was practically cuddling by her side. She petted him and looked for a collar but found none

"Who left you here, buddy?" She muttered "Don't worry, I'll take you somewhere safe" She then took out a knive she had hidden in her boot. Bucky's eyes widened

"How long have you had that?" He asked

"I never leave home without protection" she stated while she cut the rope out of the dog's neck

Home... that word had changed a lot for Bucky. First, home was Brooklyn, the it was Siberia, after that it was Washington DC. And now? He felt home with Mickeyla. Not the apartment but her. He had learnt that it was true what people said, home is where the heart it

"Could you help me carry him to the car?" Micky asked

"Sure" Bucky said approaching them. The dog growled and Bucky stopped walking

"It's ok. He's a friend" Micky talked to the dog. She took Bucky's hand and brought it closer to the dog. The dog sniffed it and licked his hand. Bucky couldn't help but smile

"We'll get you somewhere safe, buddy" Bucky promised the dog before picking it up
