Dear Jisoo,
"What do you like to do in your spare time?" Shownu asked me today.
"I like to write letters to my best friend Jisoo"
"Oh really? He must be living far away then" He said while drawing a picture.
"Yeah" I said playing with my fingers
Shownu asked me where you lived but all I could answer was a simple 'I don't know'
"So how are you sure that he reads your letters" He asked
How do I know? I don't.
"I don't know but I started writing these letters to him 1 month when he left to god knows where, 3 years ago. I know that there is a high possibility that he won't read this, but if he does read these, I would be over the moon" I said
"Where do you send them when you don't even know where he is?" Shownu stopped drawing.
He drew a whale.
"I just send them to his old apartment"
"What if he doesn't read them" Shownu asked
"I would like to read them then"
I grabbed a crayon on his desk and started colouring his whale
"I'm pathetic aren't I?" I asked
I am. I really am.
Shownu looked at me with confusion in his eyes.
"Holding on to the past like this. Pathetic right?" I continued
Shownu didn't say anything after that neither did I.
It was only me, Shownu, a 64 pack of crayons and Mr. Whale.
Although I have everyone supporting me -except my parents, I can't help but to feel lonely.
Jisoo, I'm really pathetic, right?
Holding onto the past and missing you like this.
I'm pathetic.
