Being an old country, it is somewhat hard for him to adapt to the changes in the world- mostly the changes of machinery.
Ludwig, however, being somewhat a young country, knows how to use electronic devices.
So when Feliciano starts to cry about the tiny oven (Microwave) not working for him, Ludwig comes in as is hero.
