Matthew's nickname for Gilbert is Pooh bear, and Gilbert hates it.
It actually originated when Matthew was tired of Gilbert calling him Birdie, took a look at his bookshelf and saw a copy of the Winnie the Pooh books, and shouted- "Pooh bear!"
It has stuck ever since, and why Gilbert hates it so much is because he likes the dam books and acts like the bear too.
