Because it hurts when He has to hold Antonio at night when Antonio has awaken from a nightmare and try to calm him when he screams that he killed all the Aztecs.
(Historical fact: when the Spaniards arrived in the new land and start to take over, they killed thousands of Aztec people and basically destroyed the culture and the people. So.....
