Chapter 4

Percy's POV
I packed the last thing in my backpack and started to walk out of my cabin.

?:Going somewhere?

I saw Grover who was hiding in the shadows and was carrying a backpack.

Me:Um yeah just going for a...walk?
G:Great I'll come too.
Me:No no I'm going alone.
G:No I'm coming with you.
Me:No!

Grover chuckled and kept following me.

G:Then you're being followed.

(Y/N)'s POV
I silently closed the doors of the Apollo cabin. While I was walking,a hand grabbed my shoulder. I turned around to see Annabeth,who was ready to go on a quest.

Me:Uhh hey Annabeth. What are you doing here?
A:Well I'm coming with you on the quest of course.
Me:H-how did you know I was going on a quest?
A:(Y/N) I'm a daughter of Athena and besides you know how much I wanted to go on a quest.

That was true. We both wanted to see the outside world since we haven't seen it after we came to camp. I sighed and nodded.

Me:Ok. Let's go meet Percy. And I have a hunch that Grover is with him.

Annabeth giggled. We walked until we found them arguing.

A:One small victory and you think you're ready to fight Hades.
G:Ooh double team.
P:Really? You too? Look I just found out my mother is still alive. And me and (Y/N) are gonna get her back.
G:Just the 2 of you?
A:From the Underworld?
P:Whatever it takes.
A:Huh. Yeah well maybe you'll outsmart Hades. 
P:Maybe I will.

Everybody stopped walking as Grover and I watched Percy and Annabeth glared at each other. Then Percy started to walk off but Grover stopped him with his crutches.

G:Percy I can't let you do this ok?

Percy swatted the crunch away and kept on walking.

P:Look I'm not asking for your permission.
G:Ok. Well according to regulations,if I can't stop you then I must accompany you. 'Cause I'm your best friend and your protector.
P:Junior protector.

Grover scoffed.

G:Is that really necessary? 

Percy sighed and stopped walking and looked at Annabeth.

P:Come on. Today you tried to kill me. Now you want to defend me?
A:That wasn't real.
Me:That was just training.
P:Yeah right.
Me:Percy that's what we've ever did,is train and train and train.
A:We've grown up here. And we've never had the chance to go on an actual quest. Besides,you've won 1 battle and we've won hundreds. You're gonna need our help.
G:Good point.
Me:Come on Percy just let them come with us.
P:You two really want to come?
G&A:Yes!/Yeah!
P:Ok I guess we're all going.
Me:So who knows how to get to the Underworld?
P:I didn't think of that one.

I looked at Annabeth and she looked like she had an idea.

A:I think I know someone who might know a way.
