Dunno how may parts Tangled will take up (probably two or three) but it's MUSICAL TIME!
This is going to be auditions and who's cast as who.
Enjoy!

-----------------------------------------------

Ryley entered McKinley with someone else the week following the happiness week. That someone else was her sort of sister, Rachel who was in town to help out with the musical. So was Artie and Blaine. The three were helping Finn and Will direct the musical of Tangled.
"I'm so excited for the musical, Rach." Ryley tells her sister.
"I can tell." Rachel says with a smile towards her younger sister.
"I'm trying out for Rapunzel and I know I have this role in the bag." Ryley says.
"Ah, you are such a Berry." Rachel says, shaking her head at her sister.
"You should be proud." Ryley says with a half grin.
"What are you singing for your audition?" Rachel asks.
"I'm returning to the band I sung for my audition. I'm going to sing one of my favourite songs by Bon Iver." Ryley says.
"Good luck. I'll try to put in a good word for you but I can't be totally saying you have to be Rapunzel because you are my sister." Rachel says.
"Thanks Rach." Ryley says.
"You better get going to class. Have a good day, sis." Rachel says.
"Bye." Ryley says, giving her sister a hug then heading down the hallway to her first class of the day.

---------------------------------------

"Ryley Berry."
Ryley makes her way onto the stage of the auditorium to begin her audition. Her guitar is in her hand.
"What will you singing for us today?" Artie asks from the directors' placing in the centre of the auditorium. With him are Blaine, Finn, Will and Rachel, all watching Ryley intently.
"I will be singing Blood Bank by Bon Iver with just my guitar. No band. Totally unplugged." Ryley says.
"Go ahead." Will says, nodding towards her to begin.
Ryley breathes in and breathes out slowly. She then began to play her guitar.

Well, I met you at the blood bank
We were looking at the bags
Wondering if any of the colors
Matched any of the names we knew on the tags

You said, see look that's yours
Stacked on top with your brother's
See how the resemble one another
Even in their plastic little covers

And I said I know it well
That secret that you knew but don't know how to tell
It screws with your honor and it teases your head
But you know that it's good girl
'Cause its running you with red

Then the snow started falling
We were stuck out in your car
You were rubbing both of my hands
Chewing on a candy bar

You said, ain't this just like the present
To be showing up like this?
As a moon waned to crescent
We started to kiss

And I said I know it well
That secret that we know that we don't know how to tell
I'm in love with your honor, I'm in love with your cheeks
What's that noise up the stairs, babe?
Is that Christmas morning creaks?

And I know it well, I know it well
And I know it well, I know it
And I know it, I know it
And I know it, I know it

Ryley finishes, receives a good applause then rushes off the stage and runs into Ryder's awaiting arms.
"You did awesome, babe." Ryder says, hugging her.
"Thank you." Ryley says into his chest.
"I'm up next." Ryder says.
"Ryder Lynn!" One of the directors' shout.
Ryder takes a deep breath then walks onto the stage. He tells the band his song then stands in the centre of the stage.
"What will you be singing for us today, Ryder?" Artie asks.
"I'll Be by Edwin McCain." Ryder says.
"Good luck." Artie says.
Ryder smiles then begins to perform as the band begin.

The strands in your eyes that color them wonderful
Stop me and steal my breath.
And emeralds from mountains thrust towards the sky
Never revealing their depth.
Tell me that we belong together,
Dress it up with the trappings of love.
I'll be captivated,
I'll hang from your lips,
Instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from above.

I'll be your crying shoulder,
I'll be love's suicide
I'll be better when I'm older,
I'll be the greatest fan of your life.

And rain falls angry on the tin roof
As we lie awake in my bed.
You're my survival, you're my living proof.
My love is alive and not dead.
Tell me that we belong together.
Dress it up with the trappings of love.
I'll be captivated,
I'll hang from your lips,
Instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from above

I'll be your crying shoulder,

I'll be love's suicide
I'll be better when I'm older,
I'll be the greatest fan of your life.

And I've dropped out, I've burned up, I've fought my way back from the dead.
I've tuned in, turned on, remembered the things that you said

I'll be your crying shoulder,
I'll be love's suicide
I'll be better when I'm older,
I'll be the greatest fan of your...
I'll be your crying shoulder,
I'll be love's suicide
I'll be better when I'm older,
I'll be the greatest fan of your life.

The greatest fan of your life.
...greatest fan of your life.

The directors' clap for Ryder as he smiles at them and leaves the stage. He smiles at Ryley as he exits the stage.
"That was awesome, Ryd." Ryley says and gives Ryder a kiss.
"Thank you." Ryder says, smiling at her more.

-------------------------------------------------

"Have you guys, auditioned?" Ryley asks her friends as she sits down with Ryder at lunch. Kitty, Marley, Jake, Angie and Gabe are all sitting at the table.
They all nod.
"I'm kind of just hoping to get the role of the Queen. It's not a speaking role but it's still a key role." Marley says, shrugging.
"And I can be the King." Jake says and gives Marley a quick kiss.
"That means if I'm Rapunzel, I am your child." Ryley says, raising her arms in the air.
"That's not at all awkward." Angie says, sarcastically while eating a piece of the food on her plate.
"And that also means I am your son in law." Ryder says.
"Future son in law." Marley corrects Ryder.
"But that makes it extremely awkward with our sort of romantic history." Ryder says to Marley.
"Yeah." Marley says, nodding.
"So back to the topic of the musical; I auditioned for Mother Gothel so I'm going to have to be wearing some grey wigs and make up to make me have wrinkles in some scenes." Kitty says.
"And I have to pretend to be your daughter." Ryley says.
"This is just getting really weird now." Gabe says.

-----------------------------------------

"I'm still pissed about not doing Next To Normal." Blake says, his arm folded as he leans against the wall next to his sisters locker.
"Sorry Blake but Tangled will be fun." Natalie says, closing her locker.
"But Next To Normal would be better." Blake says.
"Try to get involved though." Natalie says.
"I could try out for the Hook-Handed Thug who sings in I've Got A Dream." Blake says.
"That's the spirit. I, on the other hand, will be working backstage if the directors' let me." Natalie says.
"I thought you'd be auditioning for Rapunzel." Blake says.
"Nah. Ryley deserves that role." Natalie says.

-------------------------------------

Artie rolls down the hallway with Blaine. The wheel-chaired boy puts a piece of paper up on the notice board. It's the cast list for Tangled as soon as Ryley sees Blaine and Artie walk away from the notice board, she drags Ryder over to the board.
"I'm Rapunzel!" Ryley shouts, fist pumping the air.
"And I'm Flynn Rider!" Ryder shouts, smiling at her. The two share a hug then kiss.
Ryley then looks back at the board to see who else is in it.

---------------------------------------------------

"So Ryley, I've talked to Zachary Levi." Rachel says, starting a conversation with her sister on the way home from school.
"You talked to Zachary Freaking Levi? You better not be shitting me." Ryley asks, her jaw dropping.
"Language! You have also talked to him, remember? But I somehow was able to get in contact with him and I told him about the school's performance of Tangled and told him that he should come." Rachel says.
"If he comes, my life would be complete. I'd mess up from being nervous about performing in front of him!" Ryley says, panicking just a bit.
"He might not be coming though." Rachel says.
"You're getting my hopes up, Rach." Ryley says.
"I know I am." Rachel says with a small smile.
Ryley playfully pushes her sister with a small giggle.
"I am telling the truth though. I did talk to Zach Levi about it." Rachel says.
Ryley looks straight ahead with wide eyes and quietly says, "Don't freak out."

-------------------------------------------

What'd ya think?
The last spoken quote is a reference to the Chuck Pilot. Chuck said it at the end of the pilot after he 'flashed' on a ring that Sarah was wearing. I'm pretty sure he's said it a couple of times after that...
Songs Used:
Blood Bank - Bon Iver (One of the many awesome songs Chuck has introduced me to. I love this song)
I'll Be - Edwin McCain

I have a Chuck promo that I love so much over there ------> It's funny and awesome :) It's basically just Chuck Bartowksi (Zachary Levi) and Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski) talking about being spies and it's awesome :)
