Umi has a very kind and caring personality. She's selfless and always prioritizes others before herself, especially when it came to [Name]. Even though she shares a past with Oikawa, she still cares for him deeply.

History
Umi was once in a relationship with Oikawa. It was at the end of their 2nd year when they first started going out. They kept their relationship private as to avoid any drama from his fangirls and were happy with each other.
However, a few months in to their relationship, school started again and Oikawa became busier with his volleyball practices. Since he was the captain, he was pressured with more responsibilities and could no longer spend as much time as he could with Umi like they would during the holidays.
Eventually, their relationship became too strained for them to be able to continue, since they were unable to keep up with each other anymore. They both agreed that it was better if they broke off their relationship.
