... They set up the telescopes as soon as they reached the top of the hill, adjusting the lenses, pointing them towards the skies. They waited a little longer for the skies to get a little darker. While doing so, they had a light picnic, enjoying what's left of the sunset.

Once it was dark enough, they peeked through the telescopes, hoping to catch a glimpse of stars and constellations. Oikawa chuckled as he watched [Name] looking through the telescope excitedly, unable to keep her mouth closed. Every time she spotted a constellation or a star, she could call out for him, tugging at his arm to have him see it too. He would then explain as much as he knew about the constellation to her, telling her to stories behind it.

Oikawa sat on the grass, the soft breeze caressing his face as he watched Iwaizumi, Umi and Sakura use the telescope. He tilted his head up, looking up at the dark skies dusted with small balls if lights. Since they were quite a distance away from the city, it was easier to spot out the stars.

He turned to his side when he felt someone sit next to him, rustling the grass. He smiled to find [Name], smiling at him. She bent her legs close to her chest, resting her hands on her knees. She looked up to the skies too, wanting to see what he was looking at. "The stars are really pretty," She said.

Oikawa saw the reflection of stars in her eyes and smiled. He looked up again, admiring the stars above them. "Yeah, they are." He agreed.

"Oh, is that a Scorpio?" She asked, pointing up to the sky.

"That's an Orion." He chuckled. "Lay back, you'll be able to see it better." He leaned back, pressing his back against the cooling green grass. He stretched out his arm to form a cushion for her, motioning his head for her to lay back.

She hesitated for a moment but seeing the smile on his face assured her that it was alright. She leaned back, resting the back of her neck on his arm. She could feel the warmth of his skin at the back of her neck, building up all the fluffy feelings in her stomach. Being so close to him allowed her to catch his scent. Inhaling his soft cologne, she felt her face heat up. Somehow, she already felt addicted to the scent.

"Look," Oikawa said, keeping his gaze to the sky, pointing his finger up. [Name] followed his finger, looking up to the stars. He drew his fingers in the air, pointing at all the stars. "If you connect this here, and this..."

"I see it," She exclaimed. "It really is Orion."

"MmHmm," He hummed in agreement.

"You're right, I can really see it clearer laying down." She smiled, twisting her head to face him.

"Yeah," He agreed turning to her. They froze when their faces were just inches apart, staring into each other's eyes. Their bodies tensed up at their closeness, their pulses scaling up.

Oikawa was the first to turn away, looking back up to the skies. "W-Well, these shooting stars sure are taking their time!" He chuckled nervously, keeping his eyes fixated on the sky.

"Y-Yeah..." [Name] agreed, looking up too. Her face flushed as she tried to calm her fast heart beats.

"It'll really suck if we can't get to see them," Oikawa said, searching the vast skies in hopes of any moving light.

"It's fine," [Name] disagreed, nudging a little closer to him on instinct. She turned her head to face him once more, her breath brushing against his neck. The blood in Oikawa's veins were coursing around his body with twice the speed now. "I don't mind if we don't get to see the shooting stars or not, I enjoy spending time with you the most, Oikawa-san."

"[N-Name]-chan..." Oikawa turned to her, his eyes wide. His entire body stiffened when she leaned closer to his face. He was about to lose control of himself. He forgot how to breathe, how to function as a human being as she pressed her lips just right next to his, the edges of their lips brushing past each other lightly.

As she pulled away, Oikawa's head spun at the brief contact their lips shared. He balled his fists and clenched his jaw, swallowing hard. He stared into her eyes, completely speechless at her actions.

[Name] stared right back into his eyes, a light blush dusted over her cheeks. Just like him, her heart pounded against her ribs at an alarming rate. It was hard to tell if she was hearing her own heart beat or his anymore. She let out a little giggle, burying her face into his neck. Her soft [Hair Color] locks tickling him, dyeing his face into a deeper shade of red.

"[N-N-N-Name]-c-c-chan?" Oikawa stuttered.

"Oi. Ka. Wa. San?" Sakura's bone chilling voice rang through his ears, causing him to flinch. He looked up to find Sakura and Iwaizumi cracking their knuckles, a dark purple aura growing behind them while Umi smiled at him, though it was anything but friendly behind that smile. Oikawa's face turned blue with depression lines hanging all over his face. "What. Are. You. Doing?"

"F-F-Fuyuki-san! I-I was just..." Needless to say, Oikawa didn't have to chance to finish what his explanation when Iwaizumi jumped onto him, crushing the captain with his muscle-enhanced arms, nudging the brunette's ribs with his elbow painfully. "I-I-Iwa-chan-n! I'll d-die at this rate!"

"Good." Sakura, Umi and Iwaizumi said harmoniously.

"HOW CRUEL!"

"Look! Shooting stars!" [Name] pointed out at the sky, grabbing the attention of her friends. They looked up to the skies, pausing their attacks on the poor captain. "It's so beautiful!" She exclaimed, face beaming.

Iwaizumi let out a small 'hmph' before laying down next to Oikawa, looking up to the skies. Umi followed his lead, laying down next to [Name], snuggling a little closer to the girl. She tugged onto Sakura's arm, pulling her to lay next to her. They all remained quiet, enjoying each other's company as they watched the shooting stars blink in the night sky.

Oikawa turned to his side, where [Name] was. Although he was thrilled about the amazing once in a life time phenomenon over his head, he couldn't help but to keep his eyes on her. Noticing that he was looking at her, she turned to him as well. She quietly moved her hand over his, slipping her fingers between the gaps of his.

Gently squeezing his fingers, she smiled at him, making his heart skip a beat. He swallowed, folding his fingers around her hand, interlocking their hands. He let out a sigh, relaxing his tensed muscles and pulled his lips into a smile.

If only things could have stayed like that forever.
