Q would deal with a miscarriage by becoming distant. He'd spend less time around you, unable to cope with the burden of losing a family all over again. You'd try to rope him back in, try to prompt him into thinking about trying again, but he wouldn't have any of it. He'd be cold for a while, completely unable to deal with it before he eventually collapsed with grief and let you help him. From there, you'd mend together.

Sal would deal with a miscarriage by becoming frantic. Paranoia would take over everything he did. He'd change his diet, his way of doing things, his way of touching you– everything, as he'd become obsessed with the idea that he'd had something to do with the pregnancy ultimately failing. It'd result in a collapse of bearings in which you soothe him from, calming him down from a huge panic attack before being able to convince him it's not his fault and that it never had been.

Murr would deal with a miscarriage by becoming increasingly risk-driven. He'd drink more (though not to the extent of alcoholism), partake in more shady things in order to let the danger distract him from the heartache until eventually he couldn't take it any more and broke down. Upon his mending and his admittance regarding the adoption of unsafe behaviour, you'd help him to accept that no matter how much he delays facing the pain of loss, he has to eventually.

Joe would deal with a miscarriage by becoming heartbroken. Very open and very honest, it would be abundantly clear that child-adoring Gatto has had his heart-shattered by the cruel hand of circumstance. He'd try to bargain with adoption (too afraid to try again for fear of it failing a second time) and would succumb to a deep depression, having to be pulled out of it with both your assistance and frequent taking of medication. Eventually, you'd be able to sit down and talk to him about it, perhaps flagging up the fact that you can try again, that one miscarriage is not the end. You'd see him wince, but he'd nod, and thus would mark the beginning of his recovery.
