Chapter 3: Go On A Date With Me?

Lauren's POV:

After the game, the girls decide to watch a movie. I don't mind since Camila is cuddled up to me.

"Hey. You sure you want to sit and listen to this?" Camila asked.

"Yeah it's fine. Are you enjoying the movie?"

"Actually I haven't been watching it."

"Is it not a good movie?"

"No it's just um you are kinda distracting. To be completely honest I have been staring at you the entire time."

I smile and feel my cheeks heat up.
"Really?" I say just above a whisper.

"Yeah. I think it's really cute how you try and concentrate on listening to the movie.You scrunch you eyebrows and steady your breathing."

"I think you are really cute."

"You don't really know me, how can you find me cute?"

"I just do."

"Want to get out of here?" She asked.

"What about the movie? Also Normani would kill me."

"As for the movie, I can tell you all about it later. Normani seems a little busy. I'm sure she won't mind and if it helps we can let them know."

I nod "Okay."

I feel her get up and take my hand.

"Hey D, Lo and I are going to be outside on the balcony. Is that okay?"

"Yeah sure sorry Laur about the movie. Next time we can do something else." Dinah says.

"It's okay. Mani is it okay if I go?"

"Yeah be careful babe."

"You too. Have fun." I smile

Camila leads me to the balcony.

"So now that we are alone maybe we can get to know each other a little more." Camila said.

"Well what do you want to know?"

"Anything how about we play the question game?" She asked.

"Okay you go first."

"Where are you from?"

"Born and raised in Miami. Do you play any sports?" I answered and asked.

"God no. I am so clumsy. I did tennis once, I was so bad the coach used me as an example for what not to do."

I laugh at that.

"Hey, that's not funny. I cried and never went back. I still have nightmares." She complained.

"Aww. Poor wittle Camzi." She playfully slaps my arm.

"You just hit a blind person how do you feel about that?" I ask with a smirk.

"Oh my God. Stop you're making me feel like an asshole." She whined.

"Aww sorry. But your turn for the questions."

"How many relationships have you been in?"

"If Mani's cousin counts, then one." I shrugged.

"Really? But you are so beautiful." She said shocked.

"I am blind. Not everyone wants to put up with the struggle that comes with being with someone like me."

"Well they are stupid."

I laugh "Yeah pretty stupid but hey it's my turn."

"Okay ask away."

"Will you go on a date with me?"

"Like just you and me?"

"Yeah." I smiled.

"I would love to go on a date with you."

"Are we done with the game?"

"Yeah we should get back."

She takes me back to where Normani and Dinah are.

"Hey Laur. You ready to head out?" Normani asked.

"Yeah sure."

"You girls want a ride?" Camila asks.

"I thought Dinah was going to take us?" I ask confused.

"I can take you in DJ's car since I am crashing here."

"You staying the night?" Dinah asked

"Yeah is that cool. I texted Ally she is staying with Troy."

"You have a perfectly good dorm room you know." She replied sassily.

"Shut up Dinah why don't you want me to stay over?"

"You can stay but I can take them."

They go back and forth eventually both girls finally decide to take us. Mani and Dinah in the front while Camz and I were in the back.

We arrive at Normani and I's studio apartment. Dinah and Normani are on the other side of the car saying their goodbyes. While Camila and I are saying our goodbyes on this side.

"Can I have your number?" I ask Camila.

"Yeah of course give me your phone."

I reach my back pocket and hand it to her. "I have no password."

I hear her typing and giggling. She hands me back my phone.

"What did your put your contact name as?"

"Clean Camz."

I start to laugh. "Why that?"

"Because unlike you I am clean. I should change it."

She takes my phone back.

"It's Camz with a red heart and a kissy face emoji."

As I take my phone back, I pull her hand to my mouth and kiss it. "Goodnight Camila."

"Goodnight Lauren."

Normani comes to us. "Bye Camila nice meeting you."
"Nice meeting you too Normani. Have a nice night."

I hear Dinah and Camila leave.

Normani helps me go through my nightly routine and hers, which we do every night.

"GOODNIGHT MANI!!" I yell.

"GOODNIGHT LAUR!" She yells back.

"I LOVE YOU BITCH!"

"DON'T EVER STOP LOVING ME BITCH!" I laugh

" I won't " I whisper to myself.
