Chapter 20: The Surgery

     Today is the day of my surgery, I am so fucking scared. I got to spend Christmas with Camila, her mom and sister as well as my friends and family. It was great. Today Camila and I make 3 months she said we would give each other our presents after the surgery. I got her a promise ring because she WILL be Mrs. Camila Jauregui.

"Babe it's almost time for us to head to the hospital." Camila says.

"This is the last time we will wake up like this and I would be blind." I say.

"And it wouldn't change a thing." She tells me.

"I love you." I say.

"I love you too." She tells me.

We get ready and head to the hospital for my surgery.

I am currently sitting on the hospital bed. My mom and Camila are sitting next to me.

"Camz you will be here when I wake up?" I ask.

"Yes baby." She says reassuringly.

"Ms. Lauren, we are going to wheel you to the operation room." The nurse says.

"Wait. Camz." I say in a whiney voice.

"Yes baby?" She asked.

"Kisses." I ask

"Of course." She says and connects her lips with mine. We end up having a brief makeout session.

The nurse wheels me out.

"Hey Lauren I am Dr.Valentine and you already know Dr.Wesley. We will be your surgeons as well as the three nurses we have here." Dr. Valentines says.

I nod.

"Nurse Jessica will sedate you." Dr.Wesley says.

I feel a gas mask being put on me.

"Okay sweetie count to 10 with me okay." Nurse Jessica says and I nod.

"1." We say together.

"2." We say together.

"3."

"4"

"5"

"6" I lost it there and knocked out.

(Lauren's Dream)

"Mommy! Mama!" A little girl says, and I turn around.

"Savannah."Camila says. Wow Camila is beautiful. I can actually see.

"Mama?" The little girl asked.

"Hi nugget."I pick up the little girl.

"Mama,Emma is being mean to Logie." She says.

"Emma Grace come here right now." Camila scolds.

"Yes mommy?" Emma asked.

"What are you doing to Logan?" Camila asked.

"Just telling him what to do because I am much bigger." Emma says proudly.

"No bug, that's not how it works. Where is Noah Vincent?" I ask.

"Right there with Logie." Savannah says.

Noah comes holding his little brother's hand.

"I help Logie Mommy." Noah says and smile.

"Okay now that you are all here let's go to the park." Camila says.

I pick up Logan And Camila picks up Emma since they are the smaller ones. Noah holds Savannah hand and mine. Savannah holds his and Camila's as we walk to the park.
Camila and I drop the two toddlers in the sandbox and sit down.
