Once upon a time in a world with no crime
Humans and magicians, living peacefully side by side
Then there happened a foul deed, committed by a magician, with a heart full of grief
The humans, now afraid and irate, forced the magicians to walk away
They tried to convince them, not all of them were as evil as the committer
But the human's kindness disappeared and left nothing but fear
War had come and destroyed the land, creating a wall between the men
When it was over and done, humans thought magic was finally gone
But it was still everywhere, just hidden in plain view
Forced to disappear inside, so the world could again turn bright
The Magicians tried to live without magic, hurting themselves, how tragic
But somehow, the humans found out and left the magicians no choice, but to run
Hoping their lives wouldn't end, but had just begun.
The humans now were fearful again, knowing, the others were still alive and a threat to them
They started to hunt them, trying not to let even one of them left
But some questions passed human's minds, all of them asking
"We once lived together, lucky and fine,
they hid all these years, protecting us from crime
Why are we hunting them, they didn't cause any harm!
They even forced their nature back, not letting any magic attack"
But it was too late, most human hearts were filled with grief
Still angry about a crime only committed by one thief
Some humans turned bad, some magicians mad
And the fight continued, sometimes to the death
So it goes on, a game of hide and seek
That may last to all eternity.
