Ch.31 Distances For Now

It was the right decision to make...

I turn away from what was about to happen with tears falling from my eyes, Katelyn was an amazing friend but she just a little over protected at times "Laurance, huh...that's all I needed to hear" I heard from behind me, I could tell Katelyn was about to flip "I've heard plenty about you"

Shoot! What have I done...

I heard the gates raise, my heart was racing...what was she planning on doing. As soon as the gates were raised I could heard Katelyn shoving Laurance on the ground

"Oooh! Poor pretty boy..." She growls, I quickly look over my shoulder to see Laurance on the ground begging, while Katelyn on the urge to slap him

"Wait!" I called out, both of their heads swing to look at me.

"Aphmau what are you doing..?" Katelyn looks at me

"It's Lord Aphmau..!" I was mad, I really don't know why but I was mad at everyone right now

"...." They both stayed quiet

"Katelyn get him a place to stay, as far away from me." She nods "I don't want to deal with this" she grabs Laurance by his collar until he was on his feet

He looks at me giving me a warm smile, I just roll my eyes

"Come on pretty boy!" She pulls him along the gravel path

As soon as there out of my sight a small exhale of exhaustion and stress shoots out, I begin to pull myself to the guard station to get my mind off what happened

"Lord Aphmau, are you okay?" A formaliar British accent flys through my ear, heh...Garroth

"Yea...just Laurance." I sigh

"Laurance..?" He thinks "Oooh..! The one you have feeling for, and Cadenzas brother...or step brother, no wasn't it half brother..?" I stand there wide-eyed did he just say 'the one I have feelings for...'

"Woah woah woah! The one I have feelings for!" I say shocked

"Why do you sound so shocked, It's obvious that you still have feelings for him, its taking you so long to move passed him, whenever you see him your emotions go crazy, he's always on your mind..."  

I stand there shocked, its like his explained this before...

"Well yeah, I guess it's true, but..." I didn't know what to say

"You can't deny the truth!" He teases 

"I know, I know! But what do I do..?" I ask giggling and laughing at him

"Well you have to show it first, you sound like a jerk whenever you talk to him"

He was right, if Laurance is staying at my village, I'm going to have to show something towards him, even if it wasn't love...I have to show something
