A Friend From Afar

After the kiss we headed back inside to see a man with pure black wings. He stood up when Kaylub entered. When he saw the man he froze in the spot.
"Oh prince how I missed looking upon your smile everyday. Why did you leave so swiftly?"
"Midnight what are you doing here?" He said as we both entered closing the door.
"I'm here for you prince I'm now your bodyguard." He said as he stood next to Kaylub
"What!?!" We said in unison shocked by this news.
"Loki Can I have a minute to talk to him?" I shrug heading to my room. We will discuss this at dinner "prince".
I looked at my birth friend and studied him for a bit. "You're taller than me now."
"I've always been taller than you. Why do you have a villain living with you?" He asked looking sideways at Loki's door.
"My choice plus I'm protecting him now so don't worry, and I can handle my self and my need to feed is under control so you can go home." I tried to get him out the door but he flew over me and attacked Loki. Oh heck no.
I was watching T.V. when Midnight comes busting in. Kaylub follows in shortly in MoonStar mood in front of me.
"If you want him fight me!" They then engaged in battle. MoonStar fired a fireball to which Midnight blocked with a wall of water. He used lightning which shocked him but didn't stop him. MoonStar pulled out two blades and charged at Midnight who pulled out a staff. Blocking blow for blow Midnight missed a block to which MoonStar stabbed him in the chest causing him to fall over. "Give up." MoonStar said pointing the blade at him eyes blazing gold. He put his hands up and put his wings away.
"Can I stay?" He asked as Kaylub helped him up.
"Sure just don't touch Loki k?" He finished smiling as we both gulped and he nodded. "Well I have to get dinner done." He left cooking dinner for three.
