Chapter 17

I went downstairs and plopped on the couch.
"So was winning against Jake fun?" Andy asked sitting next to me.
I didn't have to wonder how he got there so quickly, super speed, obviously.
"Yep." I say popping the 'p'.
I do that a lot.
"Jake! Where's my sandmich?!?!" I yell.
"Hold on! Damn! I just got in here!!!" Jake yelled back.
Andy chuckled drawing my attention to him.
I look around noticing that we were alone.
"Where are the others?" I asked.
"Jinx is in his room Skyping the fam, Cc should be in the kitchen helping Jake but he could also be who-knows-where doing who-knows-what, and Ashley is in the library as usual." he shrugs.
"Oh okay." I say simply
"What does Ashley do in there anyway? I mean I know he was researching Wolves at first but what is he doing now?" Andy asks no one in particular.
"He's researching various mythological creatures." I explained.
He looks me in the eyes, "why?"
I pretend to be thinking for a moment or two while looking at the clock, it's 11:51 p.m.

It's not like I could tell him 'because he believes I'm not human. Which I'm not. I'm really a werewolf and on the full moon I'm going to betray all of your trust.' so I shrugged, looked at the tv and said "I don't know."
Andy nodded and started flicking through the channels.
He passed my favorite show Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles my eyes widened as he skipped over it.
"Wait!" I shout, steal the remote from him and change it back.
"We're not watching this." he says bluntly reaching for the remote in my lap.
"Yes we are." I shove the remote down my shirt in between my boobs.
"Don't tell me you like this baby show!" he groans.
"Hey!" I pause the TV and look at him "Batman is your obsession, TMNT is mine." I say in a matter-of-fact tone.
He groans again, "Fine." He slumps down into the couch crossing his arms.
I smile and press resume.
I couldn't help glancing at the clock.
11:53.
