I stared at them in shock before regaining my composure, "About what??" I asked.
"Well, I don't know, maybe about the fact that you're a werewolf." Ashley said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"I have... No idea what you're talking about..." I 'tries' to feign innocence.
"(Y/N)!! Ash saw you with his own two eyes!" Jake raised his voice.
It took me a moment to think of a comeback,"Yeah well... He also thought I was a mermaid."
Oh jeez.
"But this time." Ash says, "I was right."
"Yeah, but.. Were you?"
Nice argument there.
Shut up
"Yes." Andy butts in, "he was."
"You believe him??" I asked
"Yeah. I woke up on the floor, surrounded by glass, why would I not?" Andy yelled at no one.
But Cassie still shrunk to the back of my mind because of it.
"Well!" I raised my voice, "So what if I am?!?!"
There was silence for a minute.
Until..
"Then we'd have to kill you." Jake said, looking me right in the eyes.
I gasped at that.
"You can't." I said.
"And why not"
It took me a moment to answer.
"Because I'm Andy's mate."
Their eyes widened in shock and looked at Andy, who was looking at the ground.
"And he's my mate." I added on softly, looking at him as well.
Andy was quiet for a moment before finally meeting my gaze, "You're no mate of mine."
