My profile is now my hair! I dyed it again and the picture doesn't do it justice, it's the brightest purple I've ever had and I love it so much.
Q: Fireworks or Lazer Shows?
A: Fireworks
Chapter 23
Kellin's pale, slim fingers ran over the divots in my pale penny board, eyes glazed over in fascination, like he'd never seen one before, yet he held his own in his other hand.
"I gotta' say," he chuckled, "the fact that you can penny is super-hot."
I popped the cap to my lipstick, rolling my eyes lovingly at my boyfriend. "It's not that impressive, babe."
He came up behind me, reaching underneath my skirt and pinching my bum. "Almost ready?" he asked, ignoring my statement, continuing to hold my ass in his hands.
"Stop touching my ass."
Kellin laughed, fooling around some more under my skirt. "Maybe if you stopped looking so pretty all the time I would."
That made me giggle to myself as I grabbed my board from Kellin. My makeup was finished and we were on our way out to go penny boarding together. This past week, Kellin has been really missing home, and to help him with his problem, I bought him a whole bunch of things to remind him of Australia. For instance, a stuffed koala bear, vegemite, more of those Violet Crumbles, and his favourite, a new penny board, which I realized at the store was an Australian brand.
Seeing the look on his face when I gave him the gifts was the cutest thing ever. Everyday Kellin and I were growing closer and closer. We hung out almost every day. Really, the only time we didn't was when either of us was at work. Spending time with Kellin was one of my favourite things in this world, but I still fit in lots of time to hang out with the guys. Except, the only I hadn't seen in a while was Jaime. Ever since Easter dinner at my parents' house we haven't spoken. That's nearly two months. I tried to text and call him a few times to get in touch and talk about what could be wrong, but he never picked up. This got me worried because I've literally known Jaime since kindergarten. I had a feeling he was hiding something from me and the guys. I mean, if his absence was due to that girl he talked about liking I knew he would still be hanging out with us.
I'm with Kellin and I still fit in the time. That's why I've been a little past stressed out this past week.
Kellin reached his hand over to me, intertwining our fingers together. I kissed his cheek with a big smile on my face whilst I opened the door. He patted my bum on his way out. I locked the door behind me and set my board on the ground at the top of my driveway.
"Where to?" I watched Kellin push his sunglasses up his nose and set his board next to mine, placing his foot on top so it wouldn't roll away.
"Let's stop at a servo or something, I want a Monster."
"A servo is what exactly?" Kellin's Australian slang was always getting me confused.
He chuckled at me. "A gas station."
I nodded my head in understanding, gliding down my driveway and onto the side of the road. Kellin followed close behind as I led him to the nearest gas station, or servo as he called it. Once we arrived, we skated up to the door, kicking our boards into our hands.
I pecked Kellin's lips in a thanks when he held the door open for me. The cool air conditioning hit me in a gust when I entered past the doors. My eyes wandered around the surprisingly spacious gas station, raking my eyes over the freezers full of sugary drinks and treats.
