Cat Noir's eyes peeled open from the pitch black environment. He looked around noticing a huge glass window with a purple symbol on it. He saw pure white butterflies surrounding his every step. They were all sitting on the floor crowded by each other. Cat Noir got up and reached towards Marinette.
"Marinette. Marinette wake up." He whispered shaking her shoulder. Marinette's eyes slowly opened as she got herself up. "Where are we?" she asked. "that's what I'm trying to figure out." Cat Noir said searching for an exit. "Wait. These are purified akumas. Or akumas before they were evilized." Marinette said.
"This must be Hawkmoth's lair. We finally have a one on one chance to go against Hawkmoth in the flesh!" Cat Noir balled up his fists.
"Marinette, transform into Ladybug." Cat Noir said. Marinette felt the tips of her ears. She wasn't wearing earrings. "My earrings! They're gone I can't transform without my earrings!" Marinette yelled in panic. She thought about what could be happening to Tikki as she spoke. Tears started to formate in her eyes. "Marinette don't cry. The strong and fierce hero I know doesn't cry. You're still Ladybug without the costume. You may not have your yoyo but that's not going to stop you from earning justice." Cat Noir put his hands on Marinette's shoulders. Marinette wiped away the single tear she shed.
"Crying won't do any help." A deep voice chuckled. A tall figure walked out from the shadows he hid in.
The man was tall with light blue eyes. He wore a dark purple dress shirt with a black vesta light pink butterfly-shaped bow with a purple button in the center, and black dress pants. Over the majority of his face, he wears a silver mask. He also had a dark indigo cane with a round stone with black lines within a cylinder on top. He looked likely role have a personality cold and cunning. Hawkmoth.
"Hawkmoth."
"Look who's finally found a clue. Now that you've been invited into my beloved lair, I sugar you five me your Miraculous before things get bad." He chuckled at Cat Noir. He already captured Ladybug's miraculous. Now all that was left was getting Cat Noir's to achieve ultimate godform.
"Never." Cat Noir's ring beeped. A smile spread across Hawkmoth's face. It wasn't going to be long before his Miraculous would run out and Hawkmoth would find out his secret identity. His ring beeped one last time. Green sparks went over Cat Noir's body as black bubbles formed over it. Cat Noir's hair flew up and changed, his mask disappeared revealing Emerald Green eyes. His clothes transformed back into a white button shirt which was open and under it was a black shirt with purple green and yellow stripes. His pants went back to a sky blue and his shoes went back to orange converse.
Hawkmoth's eyes widened with fear speckling in as Cat Noir detransformed to reveal Adrien.
"I'm still Cat Noir even without the mask. Removing the suit and the cat mask isn't going to change anything. I can fight you either way." Adrien narrowed his eyes.
Hawkmoth reached for his pin miraculous. Purple streaks leaked out of his miraculous, covering Hawkmoth. Butterflies surrounded him and backed away as a flash of lavender streaked through them. There, in front of Adrien's pure emerald eyes was Gabriel Agreste. His evil grin slowly faded into shock and disappointment. Marinette and Adrien's jaws dropped.
