Chapter 26

Killua's POV

I silently walked out of my room to get to Gon's. It was pretty quiet, so I didn't know if he was still yet asleep. When I had opened his door, his back was faced towards me. He was meditating.

"Gon." I whispered

He turned his head to finally face me, "Ah, Killua. Are we ready to go?"

"Yea. Let's go now before it's too late." I said

We both walked out of the room tip toeing. a sudden flash of light dawned upon us. We looked behind then saw Kurapika and Leorio hiding behind him.

"What are you two doing?" Kurapika asked

"Shh!"

"We're going to the west side of this building." I said

"Can we join you?" Leorio said getting up again and standing straight

"Sure!" Gon said

I sighed. We now had more people to carry. It'll now be harder to get there without being noticed.

We all crept up in this order : Me Gon Kurapika then Leorio. It was pretty frustrating being first. We all approached Chitsu's room. It was now the main part of the excursion. The boss level. The Chitsu Level. As we got close to the room, there were loud voices. When we got closer we realized it was Chitsu singing and fangirling.

How did we not even hear here half this time?

We started to be extra careful, I turned back and placed my finger on my lips. When I turned back, I started to conceal my presence and walk. It was hard. Walking past her room. She said so many weird things, I wanted to laugh.

"OMFG JUST MARRY ME CIEL!!!!!!" She shouted

The four of us already made it half way. Well, that was until someone broke. Leorio fell to the ground and started to laugh. Not so loud, but he still laughed at room level. Kurapika, Gon and I literally carried Leorio and blasted out of there.

It took me some time to realize that Chitsu didn't notice because she and her music were really loud. We sighed once again and continued to quietly walk towards the west side.

It took some time cause this building was large, but in the end, we had finally arrived.

"We finally made it huh?" Gon said

"I just wonder what Chitsu wanted to hide from us. I mean we are her friends." Leorio said

"Well, its time to find out." I said

I walked over the wooden sign and made way into the darkness. It was good Kurapika brought a flashlight, cause this part of the building had no light.

"So, shouldn't we split up?" I asked

"Why should we?" Kurapika asks

"We'll find whatever she's hiding faster." I replied

"Well, I think you should keep in mind that this is the smallest part of the building and there is no light." Kurapika retorted

"Whatever." I replied while rolling my eyes

We started to walk around. It was dark and creepy. Plus, it smelled like something familiar. I didn't know what it was but it was a bad smell. I was wondering about the smell until Gon said something that caught my attention.

"Guys look, its a room that has light!" He said

Looking at the strange room, I ran up to it to see what was inside. It was a gym. The spotlight at the op we're flickering.

It must have been on all this time.

When Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio came to the door they looked as if this room was a big clue to the mystery. Well, then of course Gon started to smell the air.

"It smells like. Blood?" He said

"Blood?" Leorio asks

Then it popped into my head. What Chitsu was hiding.

"Could it be?!" I slipped by accident

"What. Do you know?" Kurapika asked

I ignored the three of them and continued to walk down the corridor. And that was when I encountered the body. There were three bodies that I easily recognized in my studies. It was Chitsu's grandparents and her mother. The rest of the hall was filled with servants.

"No wonder it smelled like blood." I said to myself

Blood was spilled everywhere. It was horrible. I couldn't blame her for getting depressed so much.

Just then Kurapika, Gon, and Leorio walked in on the scene. Leorio and Gon's eyes grew wide.

"What is this?" Gon asked

"Its the Great Alcrkz Massacre." I said

"No wonder she always got so sad." Gon replied

"You four better not pity me." A sudden voice said

There she was. It was Chitsu. She was leaning against the wall with her hands on her hips looking at the bodies.

"H-How did you find us?" I asked

"I set up a sensor. I knew that you guys would do this even if I said multiple times not to go in here." She said

"So it wasn't Leorio laughing." KUrapika says

"What?" Chitsu asked

"I-It's nothing really!!" Leorio assured

"Anyway, now that you've seen this why don't we go now. There's nothing here now that you found out what I was hiding." Chitsu said walking away

"Wait." She stopped and looked back at me

"What is it?" She replied with cold eyes

"Well. Where's your dad? And why didn't you clean here? And why did you keep this from us? We all already know that your family was killed?" I asked

She turned back and just stood there.

Chitsu's POV

I turned back to them. I don't know why but I felt mad. I wanted to scream and shout, but I couldn't. But Killua is right, why did I keep it a secret from them? Did I just want to keep this a secret?

"You know Killua. What if I just didn't want you guys to feel sad for me? I didn't want you to go easy on me? Plus this place is a sanctuary for me, so why clean. I'll leave it like this forever. And my dad. He is just further down the hall if you want to know so badly." I said and just left

I appeared in my room. I fell onto my bed and slept. I didn't want to think about anything anymore. I just want to go away.
