I felt my body change and fur sprouting all over my body. Then I landed on all fours. I nosed open the door and exited the lair.
Ahh open air I thought as I raced across rooftops. Occasionally I would glimpse my brothers on patrol but nothing beat being in my full panther form. I had been working on shifting when I wanted to but made little progress. I came to a stop at the edge of a building and looked around. I heard something strange, mechanical almost. Turning I was closed in by ninjas? I snarled harshly as they approached. They attacked and I retaliated using moves I had practiced in both human and cat form. I felt a net tossed over me. "Good work footbots. Let's take her to shredder." I heard a voice say but I didn't catch who it was. I heard a call of "gongala!" Before being dropped and knocked out.
