CHAPTER 8

AVIANA POV

Two weeks since the day I confronted him and until now I haven't heard anything from him.

I don't know if he is a cold-hearted manwhore who loves his bachelor life that he even willingly turn his back and choose not to acknowledge his child.

It pained me to see that there's not even the slightest care coming from him, for his unborn child.

No matter how hard I tried my best or convinced myself that everything will be okay, but I know it's not.

How can be if he unknowingly stole my heart?

I would be more Ok while I carry his child if I don't love him.

But this is me, who's stupid enough to let myself fall for him without so much effort from him.

He just sticks his big-fucking-dick in my vagina and tada I'm pregnant and in love.

I hated myself for it.

It's a pity though.

I feel like a whore who can't close her legs even just for a day.

I knew some of my neighbors mostly those who work on the Ranch were talking negatively about me.

I know these because I heard them one day.

They even called me a slut and it stung.

They didn't know that my husband died. All they know is that my unborn child's father is not my husband.

If only I could turn back time from that very day.

I wish I could.

Realizing my deepest sighed I concentrated on the nearly burn pancakes.

I've been zooming out lately these past few days. And I even neglecting the problem at hand.

I felt my tears welled up.

God, I'm such an emotional mess.

Stop it Aviana. I chastised myself and sniffed wiping my unshed tears unaware of someone's presence standing in the kitchen doorway.

Watching my every move as I continue cooking my burn pancakes at 3 pm in silent amusement.

Yes, 3 pm and I am cooking pancakes poured with chocolate ice cream and cucumber as toppings.

I hummed as I put the last pancakes in the heated pan and my mouth instantly watered at the sight of my masterpiece.

"I didn't know chocolate ice cream and cucumber along with pancakes is a nice combination." A deep baritone voice startled me making me scream like a banshee.
