I looked at Clint like a deer in headlights. My heart began to beat faster, and my palms got sweaty.

"W-W-What do you mean?" I stutter. I take another drag of my cigarette to calm me down.

"James Barnes, The Winter Solider. You have been with him." Clint put bluntly.

"I don't know what you are talking about Barton." I growled, trying to get him to drop it.

"Don't bullshit Mika." He snapped. I rolled my eyes and took another drag, but Clint had to flick a rock perfectly into my finger so I drop my boge down 800ft. I glared at him.

"You need to keep your mouth shut Barton. I mean it." I threaten and start to walk to the other side.

"Mika, do you not remember what just happened with him? Steve almost died!" Clint exclaimed.

"That wasn't him!" I snap.

"Its been what, two weeks since that attack. Now you have him with Amira. Amira. Little Amira." Clint pressed.

"She needed to meet him." I sighed. Clint came up behind me and put a hand on my shoulder.

"Mik, talk to me." He said softly. Tears began to fall and I couldn't hold it back anymore.

"Дядя, I don't know what to do." I cry. I turn and he engulfs me in a hug. "I don't know what to do."

"Shhh, I got you." Clint says as he strokes my hair. Clint has always been there, to calm me down or be the nurturing I need when Tash couldn't give it to me. I was there the day his daughter was born. I was there for the renewal of Clint and Laura vows. I can't remember a time he wasn't right there for me.

"Clint, why must it be so hard?" I ask him as we sit on the ledge, letting our feet dangle off the edge.

"It wouldn't be if you talked to me. I might know more than you." Clint said. I snorted and leaned on his shoulder.

"You don't know the half of it." I tell him. "I had to bring Amira. She needed to meet him."

"It could have been dangerous." Clint points out.

"No....he loves her too much. Plus I was there every step of the way." I tell him.

"Why not just have him come here?" Clint asked.

"Cause he isn't ready. He need to do this on his own, and Steve will over wellem him." I explain.

"Why is it so important they meet Mika?" He asks softly

"Why is it so important they meet Mika?" He asks softly. I look away, and hold back the pain from my past.

"Cause if he wants to be there for his daughter, I won't get in the way. Especially if he wants to get to know her." I say.

"It's more than that Mik." Clint says as he places a hand on my knee. "What are you keeping locked up in there?"

"Nothing I want to let out." I tell him, slightly too harsh, then stand up. "I trust you will keep quiet?"
