Chapter 22

Nicole's POV

So we're in LA for the last show of the tour and this show is going different than the others. One because it's the first show with me and look being engaged and I am surprising everyone by singing on stage with Luke. We have been practicing in private for about a month now and I am super excited. I am going on stage before One Direction and after 5 Seconds of Summer. Besides Luke and the tour manager the only other person who knows is Lou but that's because someone needs to make me stage ready haha.

5sos is currently on stage and I'm finishing getting ready backstage with Lou. I am wearing this beautiful sparkling purple strapless dress which flares out in a high low fashion. (Picture on the side) 

I was also wearing a pair of simple silver heels and I had a new surprise. I had asked Lou to cut my hair really short. 15 inches off later I felt like I had lost 10 pounds. (How my hair is styled is on the side) 

my make-up was simple, winged liner with a light smoky eye and some nude lip-gloss.

With everything on and looking perfect I walked to back stage. "LA you guy have been amazing tonight so here is our last song..... She looks so perfect!" The crowd went wild as they played their last song. They sang along and many girls were crying. Once they finished Ashton, Calum, and Michael got of stage and Luke was on stage and he announced my appearance. "Ok LA how many of you know of my beautiful fiancé?" he asked and the whole crowd screamed as a response. "Well a little secret about her is that she is a singer, and me and her have been rehearsing in private to surprise you with a duet. So please welcome onto the stage my beautiful fiancé NICOLE RAMOS!!!!!!" I walked onto the stage and waved at the crowd. I had a mic in my hand and I spoke into it "How is everyone doing tonight?" they all screamed very loud "haha I'm glad y'all are doing well. How great were the boys tonight? I think they did amazing job. Are you ready for this?" I look at Luke during the last question only to find his jaw has practically hit the floor with surprise. "Where did all your hair go?" he asks and the whole crowd laughs at his surprise. I laugh and say "I think he's just a little surprised." I pull away from the mic and laugh out loud as well as the crowd. Then it looks like it hits Luke that we're in front of a large crowd and he straightens up and blushes. "Oh don't be embarrassed babe you know I love you." I say into the mic and place a kiss on his cheek. The whole crowd awes at us and I laugh. "Well anyway today we're going to be singing the song Dancing Away with My Heart by Lady Antebellum. I hope y'all enjoy." The karaoke track starts to play in the background and then me and Luke start to sing.

We finally are standing face to face when the music finally stops. We're both out of breathe from the performance. "I love you Nicole." He says into the mic. "And I love you Luke." The crowd begins fan girling but we aren't paying any attention to that. He places a soft quick kiss on my lips and when he pulls away I smile and grab his hand and speak into the mic and say "Thank you all for giving me the chance to sing on the big stage. And I would like to ask you one question." I pause for a dramatic effect. And then I yell into the mic "WHO'S READY FOR ONE DIRECTON????" And the crowd screams louder than they have the entire night. "Goodnight everybody until next time." I say and walk off stage with Luke walking right behind me with our hands still tangled.

Luke goes over to the boys who are clapping at our performance. Then they start like patting each other on the backs in like some bro hug style that I don't understand. I look over and I the 1D boys and Harry, Liam, Zayn, and Louis all individually give me a hug and then head onto the stage entrance to wait for their cue to go on. Niall stays behind and he speaks to me for the first time since New York. "You look beautiful." He says quietly. "Thank you." I say as the awkward tension begins to build. "Hey Nicole can we still be friends? I understand if you don't but you were one of the few people I could say anything to and I miss that." I smile and hug him and say "Of course Niall. You were my first love and I will never forget that. You were my best friend along with my boyfriend. There shouldn't be any reason to have bad blood between us." I pull away and he's smiling. "Thanks Nicole, see later." He winks at me and then joins the other boys at the entrance just in time because they had just gotten their cue to go on stage.

"What was that all about?" Luke asks as he wraps his arms around my waste from behind. I turn my head and peck his cheek since he's resting his head on my shoulder. "Just finally clearing the air." I pause for a second and say "Me and him are fine now. I see no point in holding onto a grudge since what he did lead me to the love of my life." I turn in his grip and look him in the eye. I place both of my hands on his cheeks and pull him down to me as we have one very beautiful, soft, love filled kiss.
