Like how every dog needs a bone, a mermaid must have a treasure chest, or some source of box.
So why do you need a treasure chest?
It's where you can hide your mermaid things.
For example, shells, pearl necklaces, your mermaid diary, etc.
Your chest can be big, or small!
My treasure chest:
As you can see, I have a small lock on it, just in case my brothers want to have a peek.
Inside my treasure chest is...
A jewel bracelet
A pearl bracelet
A turtle necklace
A shell
A mermaid figure
And...
"Water" hand sanitizer.
I painted my treasure chest like a coral reef: blue, green, and pink.
Sometimes I just go through it in the winter when I'm missing my pool.
Another "chest" I have is for ALL mythological creatures.
It's much bigger, and contains things for fairies, mermaids, and dragons. (Also my coin collection😉)
In the mermaid section is...
A shell necklace
A shell from Mexico
Coral, off the coast of Mexico
Blue marbles
A shell bracelet
A shell from Georgia
A shell from Canada
And another shell bracelet.
In the fairy section is...
Salt (to fight off evil fairies)
A fake flower
Fairy dust
Glitter
And four bracelets that contain a legend about a girl turning into a fairy. (I'm SO not kidding!! I looked it up!!)
For the dragon section...
A rock bracelet (because some dragons live in the mountains)
A dragon bracelet
And a dragon spell
Other things include...
Two spell books
Real crystal
And a tinker bell figure
I like going through both of my treasure chests, and I love adding new things to the mermaid section of my GIANT mythological creature chest.
So...yeah! Those are my treasure chests, and they're a great way to store mythical things.
I hope you find a treasure chest!
