Today I was feeling a little down for some reason. I don't know why, but I was just really really sad. Since it was, like, 100 degrees out, I decided to take a small swim.
As soon as I touched the water, I closed my eyes and I felt a wave of calmness. Once I was all the way under, I felt a whole lot better.
I just laid on the floor of the pool, watching the sky and the puffy white clouds move above me. I watched my air bubbles float to the surface. Total stillness. Total silence.
I blame my lungs. I needed air. I was floating to the top. As hard I as tried, I couldn't stay under the water for long without drowning myself...
Anyway, this YouTube video just reminds me to go in the water and relax!
