"what do you mean important?" aria knit her not-yet-done eyebrows together and michael looked at her worriedly. he stood so still that it could've been mistaken as a camera freeze, "he told me he loved me if that's what you mean." she says hoping thats what he meant.
"listen aria, babygirl- "
"who are you calling ba-aria!" the tall blonde walks through the door, leaping toward the camera once he saw her, "why are you calling my favorite person ever baby girl? what's up darling?"
michael was scared, ready to cry once he saw the confusion in aria's eyes, but of course she didn't notice. she was so blinded by luke.
she's always so blinded by him.
michael didn't understand how quickly love got the best of her.
michael understood why she didn't trust people easily now. once she did nothing else matter, she became infatuated with the thought of love and happiness because she's never received it.
"nothing much, michael was just about to tell me something," she says, not wanting to give away that it was about luke.
michael gave them a simple never mind and walked out, almost stumbling on his way to the door.
luke winked at aria as she blushed and looked down, but at that very moment luke realized how much he cared for her, how much he would go through to make her feel safe.
