Andrea Peck was taken by some of Francis's men. They pushed her abilities as far as they could go, which incidentally was creating a false reality for someone. Francis wanted Wade to be useless, so he used Andy's ability to alter perception to make Wade think that everything he had experienced to be a dream caused by anesthesia for his surgery. But, she can only alter things she knows. Which is why everything was gone but the ring, because she didn't know about it. So Andy is alive and well, but Wade hasn't seen her since the day she was abducted. Four weeks happened in between the abduction and when Wade woke up in a hospital. Enough time for Andy's abilities to be taken to the extreme level with training.
I hope it makes more sense now, and I am considering a sequel. But only if people want one. Anyways, I hope this was heart-wrenching and interesting. If it wasn't, well I'll just have to try harder next time.
